For sale is a brushless merv with all sorts of work done. It has de-anodized (silver) motor, wheel extensions, motor plate, and bulkhead braces. All of the wires are covered in a strong sleek mesh...
yea velcro works great but it kills the hinges on the battery doors. its worth a try. a new set of stock battery door only costs 5 bucks.
@traxstar, I got them off of the traxxas marketplace but I know they are all over ebay and the toyz site has a good selection of traxxas 1/16 parts. Maybe i have been lucky but these extenders have...
@jhsmith, I'm not sure about the wiring that auto-zone supplies but its worth looking into. My wiring job consists of a tough black expandable wire shroud (works similar to Chinese handcuffs) with a...
Dang that looked fun!
your not supposed to run 2 2s lipos in series on stock esc but I've been doing it for almost a year now and I haven't had a problem. Granite I only do 15 minute speed runs.
I too am interested in the performance of the motor, shocks, and the whole set-up you got going'!
maybe i just got lucky with my stock brushless esc but i run 2 2s lipos in series all the time and my speed control has held up for about a year so far
shoulda went with the ******* 390 or one of the other metal alternatives. I had the dual stock servos and they both went out.
I have had an esc go out on me after a 2 minute run before an i too received similar symptoms. Also sometimes when the esc gets too hot, it can also be perceptible to "glitching" .
dang these are some really good toolbox options. So far i'm diggin' the one that Maxmann found the most.
they wer on backwards. flipped 'em around and went back to the beach and it worked a little bit better. Still, center diff kills the rear wheel power
@mindy9773, we found these grunions wiggling around down here at Mission Beach, San Diego. I'm a big sea foodie too!
I found some paddles laying around and decided to toss 'em on and head to the beach tonight.I noticed right away that a center diff kinda sucks in the sand (no duh). My front wheelz were throwing...
some small scale mashers would go great with that body!you should go to the toyz site, they have a wide selection or 1/16 scale parts.
I was also wondering how those cvd's changed the performance or your rc 50togo? I see alot of people with them but to my knowledge it seems as though the plastic ones can handle 4s worth of torque (I...
im really happy with my gpm shocks but those exoteks look AWESOME!
that is one thing that you have to do is sand down the inside a bit so the paint has something to grab on to(I see that you already knew this but just forgot) and you have to be careful because the...
well you ended up with one good lookin' rc car! Do you ride with a stampede body?
@50togo, Nope I enjoy seeing a thread divert in a different direction, and I was on the fence about buying the t-bone kit and everybody seems to talk highly of it so I guess its my next upgrade....
oh your looking at the 11volt 3s batteries.I have no experience with those.
i have the 2s 1800 25c batteries and they fit really easy. work great too!
