You will see a huge increase in punch as well as they are more reliable with excellent customer service.
No it doesn't. I've owned many revos since the first release and have never broken 1 or had any issues with one so there is no need to upgrade it. If you wish to upgrade just get the dimensions and...
Been running hobbywing in all of my cars including my 1/8 buggy and truggy with no problems, I have 4 SCT pros and 2 150 amps that have put me in the winners circle numerous times.
I'm running a tenshock 5200kv geared 13-54 and it's incredibly smooth and insanely fast with no heat issues, I also have a hobbywing 4000kv and tekin pro4 hd and this motor is more power and smoother...
Just get an external bec. Any servo you get is going to draw to much.
You should try using liquid mask. Once you use it you will never use tape again. And yes it's not the paints fault it's either the tape or you applied the coats to wet.
Well you will need to do some suspension tuning to successfully run on a track. Stampedes have a very high center of gravity as well as the suspension isn't set up for racing. Look at the jangs shape...
Nimh will run all the way down to 0v. You stated they would run out if capacity before hitting 12.8v that's just plain wrong.
I also welded the pin in. I actually used drill stock as a pin so it should last a very long time. I tried the shrink rap to hold it but the pin shot out and did this...
His choice of motor/esc and battery are perfect there is nothing wrong with it in any way. I'm not sure what makes you think otherwise
I don't get what's funny
The Revo platform is way more durable than the Maxx platform
Most of the pit pass projects were done by the traxxas sponsered racers. That's where it came from!
I don't know of any traxxas sponsered racers or any racing platforms for that matter. Yes the slash 4x4 can be competitive but that's their only car that fits into a ckass
Actually Cracked/split rods are very common in the 3.3 when they get older
If you have 17mm hex yes.
The stock tires for the mt4 are great
The proline bulldog for the mbx6t will fit. I have 2 of them
Yes the 3.3 is an extended chassis. The 2.5 Revo had the short chassis
I'm pretty sure the Revo 3.3 chassis and the slayer pro chassis are the same length. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
The xtm 457 pro is a great budget motor. I ran one in my big block Revo. It's a power house and idles well and hold a tune.
Ya it's a great mill. But the class is not limited to a .21 I would agree that a p5 would be a great engine that will last forever in a Revo...
Buggys are limited to .21 not truggys a lot of truggy guys run .25-.28
