What's funny is dadx2mj closes my thread because of "bickering" as he stated, then he starts "bickering" in someone else's thread. How ironic and hysterical is that?
I would prove it too you, but it kinda got ran over by a car, and I scrapped it.
I tried three different lipos, and my xo-1 will just shut off like 15 seconds after i take off... kinda odd huh? Anybody know what causes this? I haven't had an xo-1 for that long so this...
Yeah I only posted those videos on youtube to have people help me find out what was wrong with my old rusty xl-5. It sat in my closet for three years and I finally decided to get it up and running...
Yup, mine ran 122 mph before a car ran over my rc car, now it's in a million pieces... If you are gonna try it I recommend buying jaco foam tires. You won't balloon.
Just ordered the voltage alarm that spc sells:D
Yes it worth it. You can run the 3800 motor on it. I run the 1406 5700 kv motor in mine, but the 3800 will be a sweet combo.
Yeah and if you buy a temp gun, gear combo's are endless to experiment with:D
I used to run that with proline moab's and it was perfectly fine. I ran it for six months, always around 125 degrees. moab's are bigger than badlands... but if you are running to hot than yes go down...
unlock it, bigger pinion smaller spur and boom, you have a fast xo-1
also 6s lipo I forgot to mention:D
ET3 SMITH, I think you would do just fine with 28/83 gearing
ummm, like if you have vxl and are running 31/76 gearing, you will have lower temps at 28/83, or 25/83 and so on.
Make sure you run it in the middle of a wide road or like a parking lot... crashing into somebodys car parked on the side of the road isn't fun... Happened to me, and mine was really messed up lol
Velineon will not work at all. I tried it in my xo-1 and that was a bad day lol. If I was you I would just buy brand new if the roller is stock.
Well, how much money are you willing too spend :?
You want to gear lower, thats what he means. The higher you gear, the higher your temps will be.
Alright thanks, I was looking at a low voltage alarm that I could program to make an alarm sound when one of the cells dropped between the voltage I want.(I will set mine at 3.5v)
Ok thank you for reopening my thread. So I've done some research and will a low voltage alarm be able to replace lvd, as in I mean will it work the same way but make a sound instead of shutdown?...
Ahhhh, I understand now. I don't really have experience with toe in because I just drag race my xo-1 and my rusty. And dad please check your pm's thanks. And true it is more expensive, flm is kinda...
It causes more tire wear because more weight is focused on a smaller amount of tire IMO.
You guys do know fast lane machines sells a gear box that gives 4 degree toe in right? Everyone around here talks about rpm's 3 degree...
thanks:) I was thinking to set it at either 3.4v or 3.5v since you charge it until it is at 4.2v right?
If my esc doesn't have low voltage cutoff, will a lipo voltage alarm substitute for that? Or will I need something else?
It doesn't come with all waterproof xl-5's?
If I don't have it, is there any way too run lipo without it?
I can't find it... where is it at on the sticker?
