thats even better to keep a shock cap in place. nice going, wish i knew about this before. ^-^.
happened to me before. but first it caused me not to have any backing up. even when it was set to sport mode. this was when they first had the bullet plugs on the ESC. wow..... same circut board too.
Get some RPM caster blocks. get some thread lock and slap them on the shock caps. Those tend to pop off REALLY bad.
AND GET A RPM BUMPER!
everything else 'should' be ok. hopefully the ESC...

well jumping. thats closely to running into a brickwall. cause if you land those bad you'll snap.
i told a kid that asked what he should get if money wasn't a prob. my reply was this.
"You Really ask me the question of what you really want? if you think money isn't a prob. then i got the...
what is he running into. brick walls or something?
Hmm apparenlty i'll go backwards on your saying.cause it's really Traxxas has fragile stuff. i would say the only good thing traxxas does, is the 'Good Looks' job.
umm 3 for the rear shock tower on the XXX- then 2 for the Camber links. and o 2 lock nuts on the shocks (Woooo simpleness).
2 in the front that hook onto the chassis. 1 hooks onto the Tranny....
*points to dude above* thats if their running the crappy ball diff. get a DT diff and your good.
Long as you don't do stupid things with the losi you'll hold up.
you can get all around graphite...
i got a free discharger. want know what it is? it's called placing the battery pack in a Rc car, then running it tell it's low or dead. Toda! and omg it works.
Most all common brushless systems have LVC. if not you can ether go to maxamps and get a novak LVC or a Maxamps LVC. around 30 to 20$ for them.
if a Lipo goes overdischarged. well you pretty much just gotta toss the battery, cause many chargers (like maxamps) will just plain and simple not charge it anymore, cause the charger knows it's a dud.
It's for lipos. causes lipos need to stay at a charge or they go bad. so the LVC cuts off the battery power at around 2.8 3.0 percell for the battery not to go bad. If the lipos get over charged....
[Bigron] Hello the steering works
Thats quite funny if he didn't have batteries in the car and yet the steering works.
turn the ESC to traxxas. and tell them to try running it in a car, instead of fly wheeling it.
simple replacement. bulkhead and upper chassis/lower chassis. everything else looks ok.
but who needs a 2et gear system on the tranny. when you can just use a sensored brushless system? (Novak ftw)
shove some glue in the diffs and you got a spool. 2speed tranny's gonna have a interesting time. costume made gears and such hmm. o.O.
there you go mini e-revo into mini summit.
have a ESC fan and a motor fan. run times can jump 2x more then standerd. so if your running 20mins tops, which i believe would be stock with duel packs NIMH's. (probably less if i'm wrong.) then with...

http://www.swami-rc.com/images/SteelDiff%20016.jpg <--- yes that.
i had a XL-5 Before and ran a alum idle with stock diff before. i didn't break the diff. but yet from so much power of the VXL i...
Does anyone know where that one link was that had the same diff as the Traxxas steel ring? but it was fully Steel.
