I did a conversion very similar to Emaxx1991 and it cost me around $400 when it was all said and done (if you were wondering), but the truck is ridiculous!
The first time I messed one up, I had messed up the cup, but the gears seemed fine. I broke something the other day but I havent had the time to take the truck apart so ill have to get back to you....
So i'm running the stock differentials that came with my 3906, And I have since put a brushless system in it. For the most part, the drive-train holds up great but i've been messing up differentials...
I have one, but I don't have the gasket. :((
Bump it up!
To Tha Top!
Looking for a 3906 body. Can be used, but I'd like to to be in decent shape. Any color, and I don't care about the decals.
Thank you! :)
Never used them but is seems like I hear about Boca bearings often.
The 2.5 actually has dust on it from siting in my room. It wipes off and is nice and smooth. :)
And it did 13.9, 43 years ago.
Got a chance to see a 440 Super Bee (Don't remember id it was a 69 or a 70) with a lift off hood. Was build to be raced. One of four build in that color. The thing...
+1! It doesn't take long to go far at 65MPH.
Thought they looked a little funny. :p
But I've done worse...
Looking good man!
Ill definitely have to drill the exhaust. Looks like a torque monster!
And I like it without the plastic on the sides.
Awesome man! You should build a jump in the middle!
Oh I think I can. ;) But my wallet can't. :((
And American muscle does beat import. No replacement for displacement right?
It sure is. And I'm a broke teenager so... :(( Somehow I find enough to keep them running though, for a few minutes. ;)
Yeah, SC body too. Love the way that looks. Just need to find the money.
Yep no problem.
I would love to invest some $ in TVP's like that. They look bulletproof.
Im guessing maybe 3 gallons? And I helped him break it in, but he did most of the "tuning".
That thing is sick! I love the TVP's. Where did you get them?
And thank you, you do too.
I wish I would have bought the .30 for my Savage! :(( I went with the .28 instead. LRP makes one bad engine.
I think this is the only Pic of it on Photobucket. ...
No I am not. The ESC is in the way. It does look like it will fit if I move the ESC, but I haven't had any problems with having the gears exposed so far, so I don't plan on trying to get it to fit.
So my friends got a 3.3 in his Jato and he is a complete noob to the hobby, so I decided to take the engine apart, and it wasn't pretty. Compression's low, the head is is... well... brown, and the...
