I'll sell you mine. Didn't work well for me running front and rear spools.
Great shop, bought my rally there. Been trying to find time to try there track out although I was told my rally is probably to fast for indoor.
I've got bored of just going fast and spinning out. Since I mostly drive outside and at night thought add some lights....
How do you like that way one way driveshaft. I took mine out cause it seemed to spin out to much on braking
That rustler is tempting. Are you firm on your prices.
One thing that sucks is the more we tinker with these cars the more me strip these POS screws.
Them darn SS rc screws are pricy too.
These CF chassis are wearing on me. I like how they eliminate so much excess. I've also just bought LEDs to put in the front cause I mostly take mine outside.
Overall you got a sweet setup, what...
I'm looking for all metal setup including the spool.
He is sure right about running spools front and rear, no control nor can you install the Teton gears on the spools.
To me it's part of the hobby. I'm always finding the weak points of drivetrain. I'm needing new screws at this point.
One thing I can't stand is the POS steering setup. It's so weak and flimsy....
I think the one way driveshaft is trash. Makes it too dam hard to drive. Also running a 8400kv motor will do that. Dropped down to 5400 with a fan
Yup on road only unless you can manage going through a small patch of grass at WOT
One thing to be sure of is back lash on the motor to gear. Also I had this problem running the one way driveshaft. I'm running a brushless setup with a 5400kv motor and spools front and rear. Plastic...
Well this one way driveshaft isn't working, just keeps spinning out. Snapped an axle during a fun run.
Yea I have the SPC 2500 2s. I just have it Velcro to the chassis. Holds up pretty well except for WOT flips.
I'm thinking of epoxy welding my diffs cause I really want metal gears installed.
I run my rally outdoor mostly. To fast to be inside in the tile and my dogs go crazy.
I think for the guys staying loyal to the stock motors should get a fan. I lost one from overheating and really...
I'm running the same battery as you. Also running excelorin ESC with 8000kv brushless. Car has to much power. I have a 5400kv that I'm about to put in with a motor fan.
I need to figure a way to get the steel Teton gears to on the spool. May have to machine it
I run a xcelorin ESC with a 8000kv motor from castle creations. I use this in my rally and it is ridiculous to control at WOT.
Putting it back together here....
Right after rolling it about 20 times....Velcro holding battery...
Ok well one word I absolutely can't use to describe the car is ......stable.
With the xcelorin speed control and 8000kv motor I seriously have to baby it.
I installed the spool in the rear along...
Last night I realized how much my soldering skills lack when converting over to dean connectors last night.
Yea I just destroyed a the steel ring gear from the Teton to get it to fit my spool.....the steel Teton ring is designed to go with the open diff not spool
Wouldn't it be a good idea to upgrade to ball bearings instead of that plastic garbage?
