The traxxas bulks are nice but too pricey, you could get flm combo bulks for about the same price. You could get ancm front & rear bulks for the price of one set of traxxas.
Nice lookin Revo.
Those are 3.2'' mt size wheels, the 3.8" traxxas wheels/tires use a different style bead. Imex used to make some dish wheels that fit the traxxas 3.8" tires & pather made some 3.8" tires for traxxas...
Yea they're the same. The 2.5r had special porting but traxxas made the 2.5 the same soon after the 2.5r came out. After that the only difference was the cooling heads.
vantage has been selling them direct for a while now.
Very Nice!
They are two totally different transmissions.
how about a slayer bumper?
Don't know if its the same thing but my neighbors revo & mine both whine since we went to response pro tires. I'm guessin its a combination of power, traction and straight cut gears. Do the new...
Is the motor bad? They're kinda pricey, here's a link to replacement parts. Maybe someone with this box will chime in with some different options/sugestions.
I use a $50 duratrax starter box modified like the pit pass article. Works fine but I'd go with the ofna box since its $75, it was still $100 when I got mine. I think the best part is getting rid of...
Man thats lucky, glad there was no damage. It seems like a great motor for the price. A buddy of mine picked up the .26 mach 2 truggy for his revo, he just needs A new era mount. I can't wait to see...
Very clean & factory looking!
Thanks Wildman. Yea, I was sick of twisting them up too or having the u-joint pop out & losing shafts.
Thanks, I'll bet your right. Sent UE a message, I'll post their response.
Heres a thread on how to connect the revo spec center shafts to the old 5mm yoke.
Its worked great for me so far with both a 2.5 & .18tz.
Will both the older maxx diffs & new revo style diffs work in those housings?
Its got 5 ports on the intake side and 1 exhaust port. Just guessin on the tz being an inspiration for the .19T though.
I just noticed that the Dynamite .19T (turbo?) has 5+1 ports. that coupled with the small cooling head makes me think its maybe a tz clone.
Not sure if the UE diff housings will fit the newer traxxas diffs.
very cool, I like the sound! Great lookin truck too.
Whoa, you're not messing around!
Wow, thats a great track!
My daughters maxx still has stock bulks & screw pins so i put a tie bar in the front too.
