I'm looking at the exploded view of the view of the front - 6808_front.pdf.

The drawing is showing only one bearing at the top of each steering post. There must be a pair of bearings at the...

    Wow!!

Ya know, I had no intentions of getting the new 4x4 Slash, no real interest at all. Have the original Slash and loved it, but stopped running it because of all the race oriented, low-CG SC's out...

I simply put 1/3 - 1/2 100,000 (yes 100K) silicon in my diff. Not locked, just right. I've unbuttoned it twice to make sure everything is cool.

Not a drop has leaked out of the diff proper - none....

Eating spurs and pinions? A solution!

I'm reposting this as a new thread so many see it. Hope to save folks some money and frustration.

I really dig these kinds of posts and find them useful for everyone, myself included. I hadn't thought of checking the bearing alignment within the spur - good eye.

Slash and the new Strike are the two that follow the "SC/CORR" design intent.

The SC10 is a stadium truck (read T4) with a new wheelset and body shell.

    Bravo Gentleman!

Can we agree not to screw up this opportunity?

After ducking out of the hardcore race scene for a couple of years, I've decided to give it another try.

    Why?

Because Traxxas gets it, and the...
