I have a VXL roller that I simply do not use. It has two short runs on it. I jumped the curb out front a couple of times in the first run and scraped the bottom in the rear (see pics). Other than...
This set was used very little. It is the waterproof version. Came out of a Stampede XL5. It was upgraded to brushless shortly after I got the truck.
Like new condition.
$47 shipped in the...
Hahahaha. Runs these things with a bunch of kids and it is priceless.
3 Stampedes and 2 rustler in addition to mine.
I think once you drove the stampede 4x4, you would see the difference. It is a Stampede after all.
It looks like the length difference is roughly the width of a VXL ESC.
I have a like new set of Rustler VXL tires/rims that were taken off of a new truck that had a 5 minute run with a tired NiMH pack. They are essentially new and unused.
$35 shipped in the lower...
This is a question for the Traxxas reps...will there be a Platinum Edition of the 4x4 Stampede offered? Really looking forward to this truck.
I would like to see a shot from the side and of the bottom
Looks great to me. Get that weight lowered/centered and still keep the high chassis in the middle. Nice! Great job.
So does the timing mean availability after the first of the year?
Moabs or masher 2000's are popular choices
I recently installed Traxxas aluminum caster blocks and steering blocks on the front of my Stampede VXL. There is slop in the steering blocks. They slide up and down a little on the king pins that...
I asked Traxxas support by email if standard 2.2" wheels would work on the Slash 4x4 and the reply was yes. He didn't say if certain offsets were required though.
That Chevy looks really, really nice.
No need to change gearing...just put the ESC in training mode for him. It really settles the truck down and makes it controllable.
Just add the parts you have already listed. Make sure you batteries are charged and ready to go. Use the 50 percent power training feature built into the speed controller/ESC to tame it down for a...
I posted this up in the picture thread, but is appropriate here to...
The blue VXL is mine. It is fresh out of the box. The black VXL is my oldest son's. The red XL-5 is my youngest son's. We...
The Blue VXL is mine...Fresh out of the box. Black VXL is my oldest son's. Red XL-5 is my youngest son's. There are also two Rustlers and one RC18T on our street owned by other youngsters. It is...
I can't imagine not having a Stampede. My Stampede VXL get driven regularly. I have not wanted for a differnt truck or car since I got it a couple of years ago.
Yeah. They were out of stock for a couple of weeks on Tower after Christmas and mine shipped from a new batch. Comes with waterproof ESC and servo along with a waterproof Rx box. I have not opened...
You should be lucky then. The Stampede XL-5 I ordered for my sons birthday from Tower came with waterproof electronics and a metal geared, brushless ready transmission.
After a bit of an R/C hiatus, I went with the Stampede VXL. Coudn't be happier with it.
That is a really nice park.
