Almost guaranteed to be a dead servo.
I would honestly prefer not to have to do that, I contacted the guys at the toys, they grabbed me a mmp combo with 5700k neu-castle. I will be ordering that in a few days when my paycheck comes in.
Harder springs will push back harder pushing your rear end back over your front end.
This is great for forward flips, not so great for controlled runs.
I run parallel 2200mah 25c lipos.
I get a little over 2 hours out of it, between speed runs, slogging through the grass, jumps, flipping, etc. The run time is nearly unbelievable.
I usually am...
Put the car on the floor, hold the front end up with the rear wheels touching, apply some throttle, do the rear wheels stay planted without spinning, or do all of the wheels spin at the same speed?
So with that in mind they would both run 3s just fine.
So I want the 5700 and to run it under 3s, which is the better controller then, mmp or sidewinder sv2?
Honestly I find it easier to just desolder and resolder than to try and cut and solder.
I think i am just going to go with the MMP/5700.
However @Pavementsurfer. You stated that you would be fine...
Like most I have decided it is time for an upgrade, and well, I want to spend my money well.
I have read every thread on big block upgrades, if I had no worries on cash it would be a MMP with a...
We have the same charger here, we use a normal 13.8 volt 8amp power supply for it.
Charging all of our batteries (all lipos, 2 revos, couple of helicopters and an A-10 takes an evening with it).
Take a look at the underside, I think you may have switched a pushrod and steering rod.
That amount of misalignment is not pillowball, it is a shorter steering rod. My wife did this on her merv.
I am running an analog servo with the digital setup and have had zero problems with it. What problems are you experiencing?
All of those are in fact a good reason to call it a bad idea when you are trying to keep the truck affordable enough to sell and make a profit on.
Besides, an physical brake requires a servo...
I was turned on to this one, going to order a couple tonight, for the price if they work as well as they say then go HK!
D-MG16 Metal Gear
Ah well that makes a difference then.
Do yourself a favor and download the exploded view of the car, it has a HUGE amount of info.
Not true at all, there is a wealth of information on these forums that are in no manual, especially when it comes to modifications.
However I must ask, when you purchased the GPM knuckles, did you...
Not to be mean, but please read the manual. There is really a lot of good info in there.
Please feel free to do a writeup now and then edit the post with pics later.
I have heard good things about GPM ones.
Check thetoys website. They have plenty of options, stay away from integy (no personal experience just what I have been told) and you should be fine.
You can use a small file, it just takes more time. It is also possible to use a slightly larger hex head and catch the inside. I have also successfully in the past used drill bits to back out a...
While the Slash is classified as a 1/16th it is a beefy car. The micro motors will get way to hot.
At this point the shop owes you for a defective repair, a chassis and front bulkhead should cover the damages.
You saved face by admitting your mistake, no mod interaction needed.
And another useful thread ruined due to censoring.
Honest question, what is the reason for no outside links? This is not communist china here, no one is endorsing the item, just asking question.
Good point, if my rims have holes I usually seal them, I make sure to use a good thick foam so as to avoid the bouncy tire issue.
