The pinion you have is a 5mm bore and that should fit the shaft, then use some spacers to line up the pinion on the motor.
Lol, maybe try a 29t pinion as a spur, loose the slipper clutch.
Ahh gotcha!! So what I'm doing to mine was right. Just curious, what is a non piston rod? Sorry for my ignorance, most of the shocks I have has pistons.
What gearing was your friend have hitting triple digit? And yeah 29t/34t requires modding for sure lol
Wow that was quick fixed  I feel you being afraid to run her again, the breakage gives you nightmare :)
XO-1 wheels/tires labeled front/rear cause the rear are wider than the front.
That would give you wider width track.
The value of my rigs are priceless and I don't really wanna think about it either but rather enjoy playing with 'em :) all of my rigs are bulit piece by piece.

I prefer single 6s to eliminate connections, nothing like a Velcro straps can't hold it in
LCG, here's a different pic
You have to modify a bearing carrier from XO-1, maybe this picture serve its purpose
When I closed the cap it bleeds a little then I fully compressed the shaft up and let go and you can see the shaft pop slowly and stop half way. Is that what you mean by compensate?
Yes, you're lucky to have a balanced shaft. I noticed mine goes on and off at certain speed thats when I come up with center bearing carrier :)
Yeah but the bladder shape like an upside down dome, either you put the bladder on top of the shock or insert the bladder inside the cap, the extra oil will bleed out.
It has a bleeding hole so any extra oil should come out unless you twist it fast enough not giving the oil a chance to bleed.
Are you keeping the stock suspensions? Fixed it with aTiNi shafts and aluminum caps and get VG springs.
Yes ViperZ mentioned it on his thread but before I heard it from him I have my own solution by putting a center bearing carrier like you see on XO-1.
I have GTR suspension with white springs (blue dot) with shock oil front 60/50 rear and I drill the shock pistons
Did you try pushing in the side cover on the pinion side as it slope down?
What transmitter do you have? TQ (am channel) or TQi (2.4ghz) I don't recall any of them require a battery holder like that pic above unless I'm missing something?
Don't get the erbe wheels/tires instead get the nitro revo, it has 1/2" offset while the erbe has 0 offset just make sure to dremel the spline inside the wheel hex. Just curious, why you want big...
I can't compare 2400kv vs. 2800kv cause I never had a 2400kv but my experienced with 2800kv it feels robust at start and quicker top end, I can hear the motor top end rpm flat out as it passes by me....
Plastic with plastic bearing adapter unless you have the platinum/ultimate then it comes with aluminium bearing adapter but the motor mount still plastic.
I've had the 2800kv before running on 4S geared mod1 18t/38t it was a blast but it got hot way too fast within 5minutes run the esc shut down, checked the temp on the motor and it was 195° but the...
