chargery makes good batteries. I wonder how their other stuff is.
did you already put the order in?
just wondering if you knew that the truck already comes with the green, blue and silver springs.
I agree, but I dont like how they handle with 2wd.
Thats why I wanted to do this.
can you imagine a 4wd baja 5t?!?
I dont know.
I thought id just suggest a possible solution.
Could be that the throttle dead-band (neutral) is reading with a slight reverse signal. This would cause the truck to slightly brake when you come off the throttle. But why it would effect you, is...
There isnt a consensus because not everyone has the same definition for offroad.
IMO, if you want good onroad tires/rims, then buy phaltlines.
If you want Good off-road tires/rims, then a...
A receiver isnt normally capable of any voltage regulation. It puts out whatever is put into it by the ESC, or UBEC. In the case of the MMM or the EVX-2 I'd assume its somewhere around 5.5-6v.
Let me introduce you to my friend, brushlessman;
Its easier to see in post #15
I dont think running a single vxl is a good idea for a truck this size. IMO youve gone from underpowered lipos, to an all around underpowered system.
Dont get me wrong, the vxl is a great...
the motor will want to draw amps. If the C rating is 15 and the mah is 8000, then the batteries are capable of 120A (8000 X 15 / 1000)
If the batteries are rated at 15c and 5000mah then the...
its all good.
i thought u may have missed it.
keep us posted on this one. i wanted to do something similar but my rc budget is frozen at the moment :(
well, I dont know how to make the e-revo have the same dimensions ...
...without converting it to have the same dimensions :o
i donno. :(
but you're not alone in your search for a powersupply. I did a search and dug up a recent thread about it.
IMO, that all depends on gearing.
I'd keep it geared low and keep an eye on temps.
well, the wheelbase of the e-revo is 358mm.
If you add the extended arms, you get 377mm.
The 1/6 Kershaw chassis says it adds 4 inches (102mm)
So using the Kershaw chassis and extended arms gives...
all the ones I know of are 110, but there is a way to convert a computer power supply, and I know alot of those come with a 110/220v switch on the back, so maybe that would be an option.
keep looking. there are better ones.
I dont know how to search in denmark, but there are a bunch out there that are capable of well over 360W
I installed mine w/o issues;
I have used some spurs made of delrin that hold up well, but I havent really had a NEED for them. I use the stockers and as long as I set my mesh correctly, they last a long time.
The only time I...
Yes, IIRC the charger comes with banana plugs that go into the charger itself and the other side just has tinned wire. So you will need to solder on your connectors of choice.
Actually.... if you...
ok , first, the Traxxas connectors are not on the motor wise side of the ESC. So you didnt do anything out of the ordinary there. It sounds to me like the transmitter and Receiver are not binded...
They must have misunderstood and thought you were asking about the stock e-revo and not the brushless one. ;)
As for chachi's comment, I think he just meant that you did the right thing coming...
Cool man! glad you got it worked out.
I meant to write in earlier and tell you to cut the wire on one half of the y-harness so you can still connect the other ESC to the castlelink.
or you can...
