Great job C6 Z06 and Huskersforever. I love it when people use spare parts to create something useful.
Very nice truck man!
Ok here is how the rear is if you have a wing.. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c269/smaxxer/DSC02648.jpg
I had to drill into the bulks, but it has not seemed to affect strength at all. If you dont...
I made my own sway bar set-up, gotjeep uses it too and likes it. i used these parts http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/5837...
Hey thanks gotjeep, glad they're working good.
You may also need to clean the OWB. They tend to slip a bit when dirty.
Awesome, how do you like the sway bar set-up?
Yeah i would defineatly get a eggy(evolution hopper) and a drop forward. Also possibly a tank cover. I get most of my stuff from Actionvillage,They run pretty good sales every now and then too.
So clean. Very nice!
If you want a good cheap servo I would suggest this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDEL5&P=ML . It doesnt have much torque but is pretty fast and very smooth. I use it on my...
That is a good pack. I have used all of them on different trucks and they are actually ok as far Integy stuff goes.
Do not get their skids or bumpers. I had a front skid from Integy and it got ripped off in about 10 minutes of driving. The only parts I have not had a problem with are the springs and the chassis...
I have a FLM motor mount on my maxx and shock towers on my rusty. They are the great!
I prefer to use a small dab of RTV. It holds great but does not get all gummed up like locktite.
here is the review http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=503 at the bottom it says the chassis is only sold by Art's Hobbies
I also put the ofna tank on my maxx. The tank didn't exactly make tuning easier, it just made the tune last longer during each tank because the fuel would not run low as fast making the lean...
Give us a list of what you have in general, Then i might be able to suggest a few things, I would stick with stock skids and put rpm skid protectors on em'.
that looks like a 2.5 with pro-line arms. the truck looks pretty decent. the chassis looks like a dynamite chassis I think...
I would suggest putting some tires such as crimefighters or bow ties on your truck then you should be able to keep up for the most part. If you really want to go all out then get a pipe, air filter...
Looks good. When i converted to a 4 shock setup it took a lot of tuning and a bit of getting use to but in the end my truck handled better and is lighter, you will be happy with them.
Man gotjeep, that is awesome! By far one of the nicest trucks Ive seen. Good job on the sway bar install, it looks great. You should put some crime fighters on there and go race. Thanks rcoverboard...
Yeah, definantly get some pics up man.
I just used a cheap can of oven cleaner from dollar general and it worked great.
Like biggregg24 said loosen the plug to start it. Make sure the fuel filter is clean and re-set all the needles to factory settings just to make sure they are right.
If you adapt a rc style air filter to it you would be ok but there is really no point in that. Just get a good filter like a motor saver or rb and you will get much better air flow.
