I'd start with sway bars and a wing. I don't know if your looking for top speed or acceleration, but the 14 tooth pinion is awesome if you want better acceleration.
+1 always worked great for me
Congrats on the new baby girl! This truck is amazing, I'll have to keep checking in for updates.
I made the mistake of letting my dad drive my revo once, and he had it flying down the road, top speed, and hit my ankle. I could barely walk for two days. Now he get hiss own revo. first day he got...
I ran 14/40 with my revo with the 3.3. The acceleration was amazing.
Some RPM a arms might need to be your next investment. :)
Fist time I refueled my Revo I thought it was going to catch on fire. -_-
The air filter/spur gear problem is a bent chassis. A new chassis is only like $10, but replacing it can be a chore.
I'd get a Revo platinum header, it attaches with a spring instead of bolting onto the engine, and it allows the header to flex instead of breaking. I don't know where Traxxas came up with a bolt on...
The suspension is what makes the truck. The Revo suspension is amazing. I've had T-Maxxs and Savages, and the Revo handles so much better, and the way the Revo handles bumps at speed is amazing. It's...
You could always get a bigger spur gear or a smaller clutch bell.
+1 on the clutch spring. Just wait till you get it running. The sound and smell of the nitro engine is soooooo much better than the little whine the electrics have.
+1 on the fuel lines and o ring. I'd buy some extra while your at it. The o rings seem to go quick.
Just wait till you get it running. I know what its like not having a LHS. Closest hobby shop to me is 97 miles way. I had to order all my Spec 3 conversion parts offline. It's all worth it though...
Even if the engine is bad, that sounds like a great deal. Hope you have fun with it. I love the Revo platform.
I don't really have a place to rock crawl around my place, but I had asphalt, so I made a road hugging machine, and I really love it. I've though about making a crawler, I thought it would be fun. I...
Didn't work for me either.
+1 on the rmp a-arms. I've broke lots of stock a-arms jumping then bought a set of rpm ones, haven't broke them yet, and I'm jumping with a lot more weight than a stock Revo, I put a Lrp spec 3 that...
Sounds awesome and lots of fun. Can't wait for that link.
I hate the new era instructions.
+1 on the spec 3. It is a beast.
As long as they are out of the way and not touching the cooling head they should be good. I got rid of my ez start a long time ago so I can't give you the exact routing.
I run a Lrp Spec 3 (.28) in my Revo, and it will easily out run any savage. When i say easily, I mean no competition at all. My buddy has a savage 4.6 and my Revo can run circles around it all day.
You sound like your set. You'll love this engine! I just put one on my Revo and it is insane!
