Sweet mod man.. very innovative.. Hopefully this will allow us to NOT have to lock up the brakes, locking them up is not the ideal situation, but probably unavoidable with only rear brakes = /
Woot! thanks jeff and frobes.. Ive got a larger guage wire that will work better. I also have some other ideas to come
Im sure the dx3r is a great radio BUT no way a regular basher like me is gonna appreciate ALLLLL 300+ bucks of it. Ill put 300 down on a new ride WAAAAAY before i drop that dough on a radio.. does...
I agree, I have more fun working on the car and makin it tricked out / tuned perfectly than bashin it around.. (dont get me wrong i love bashing)
^^ did you check out the picks i linked up at the top of the page?
yea.. deff not good for off-road. And you may want to consider a softer spring for the rear wheels for a dragger.. you want to have some weight tranfer to the back end, or squat down so there is...
very nice Revo Knevo.. Are those revo springs? Im using them too.. there very stiff but I saw a big improvement in handling with them.
I am workin on it!!!!
Got some creative ideas for a true swaybar..
I know a lot of guys are focused on speed, and thats great. but I would like to see improvments in handling and braking......
Im sure that the two are 90% the same.. i should have asked what was the difference between the two. Or what features do you like between the two..
even though it is hard mounted, it does transfer some weight.. when one side has load it does push the other side down.. But not enough.. you right, it is more of a spring than a sway bar.
I dont really feel like reading all of the features..lol
what is the difference between the dx3s and the dx3r?
A swaybar helps to prevent the car from rolling. As you corner your jato it obviously rolls to the outside of the turn. The outside tires are pushed down as the inside set starts to lift, this is...
Ok.. been messing around with a new sway bar set-up.. I know some of you don't see any measurable difference with a sway bar but I'm still gonna give this mod a try and see if I can
This is the...
You must be a Traxxas stock holder.. :D :D :D
I dont really see many features on that system.. Plus I would like to get one sooner than later.
Wow, What a difference.
Put in the new steering link, all new metal bearings, titanium casters and steering block, Futaba s3305 steering servo and RPM arms.
HUGE difference in control. No slop...
Thnks for the pictures guys..
Got some ideas!!!
If anybodys bored and wants to post up a pic of how they modded the sway bar to an RPM arm, it would be sweet..
Im lookin for a new Radio system, im thinkin abou this one http://www.rcplanet.com/Futaba_3PM_3_Channel_4GHz_Transmitter_Receiver_p/futk2020.htm
what do you have, and how does it work for you?
Deff lemme know, Im close to takin the plunge and spendin the money for em..
I would have to respectfully disagree, sway bars, IMO, will improve handling for an on-road setting..
I broke my arms the first day..
But im not really dissapointed when i brake somthing, I take the opportunity to upgrade the part
How do you like the Jaco's? Best gripping tires youve tried?
Anyone know of a mod to get a sway bar on the RPM arm?
I saw a Losi Speed last night, nice little truck.. The Jato is deff tougher.
im in Clearwater, Fl
