Well I was wrong. The truck ran okay today. I set the idle to the correct .7 to 1.0mm. It still creaped so I leaned out the LSN. This was all after I set the HSN. I ran the truck at a moderate pace...
That link really helped thanks! I leaned out the HSN because it had a lack of acceleration sorry. I am about to go run the revo 3.3 again. I feel like I should get it this time.
Well I ran the truck today. I set the HSN and LSN at stock settings. The HSN needed to be leaned out a tad. I left the LSN as it was so that I could tune the IDLE because it was at about 170 degrees....
Bookmarked? Sorry but what is that supposed to mean?
That is what I would think but I read this from http://www.cmfhobbies.com/Engine-Problems/I17.htm
When mixture is to lean, there is potential for blown plugs, over heating the engine due to lack...
.9mm thats precise! Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to tune the truck. I will start by leaning the HSN and slowly richening the LSN.
If it still runs at idle I will tune the idle screw.
Sweet thanks! My carburetor seems to be tilted so that I cannot actually turn the idle screw. Is there an easy way to reach the screw? I took out the gas tank but that did not help enough.
The truck was used and did not come with a manual so I am glad you guys are here to help. I couldn't find an online manual, is there one?
When I hold the truck in the air at idle the tires spin like they would going 10mph or so, but when its on the ground it barely moves.
I am checking the temperature with a temp gun on the engine...
I have been trying to keep the engine heat down because yesterday smoke was coming from the glow plug area at roughly 240-245 degrees F. (The glow plug is tight)
I have it rich to lower the temps...
I got it!!! It was simple once I took the mount off. After I took the mount off they slid in. I then placed the mount on the truck and screwed it in. Thanks!!!
EDIT: ITS FIXED!!!
Yeah that is straight thanks. It just seems that the space for it to fit is to small.
I am sure the answer is use more force but my dad and I gave it all we had.
I took out the rear shocks to add new oil. To take them out I had to pry them with a screw driver. Now I am trying to...

Haha yeah the victory wheels are actually for the nitro rustler and such.
What I mean is the tracer rims like these rear ones:...
Can bandit victory wheels/tires be placed on a rustler without any changes? I don't want a bandit but just want to run those wheels on my rustler. Do I need different a arms or anything? Thanks!
Great thanks. I just didn't want to snap the hex. I wasn't sure if it just came off. THANKS!
I am trying to take out the bearings in my rustler vxl and for some reason I can't find a way to reach them. Do I take the hex nut off? If so then how do I do it? Thanks.
If you have the cash get a 3s lipo. It is the best performance upgrade you can get. If you buy a seven cell nimh now and want more power later you will need to buy another new battery.
Alright thanks a lot.
I am wanting to use a spektrum 2.4ghz receiver with my rustler but I realize that the traxxas plugs both have a litttle tab on one side so everyone puts the plugs in the right way for the stock...
