Yes it works, for me at least. I do this with my Revo and Vee all the time. Never noticed a difference in range either.

The stock prop is underpowered for the nitro vee, I would order either a brass or carbon fiber prop. I use the Octura x637 i got it at offshoreelectrics.com

same here, stick with i 2 blade thats what mine is.
A new prop makes all the difference in the world. The prop that comes stock is way to weak, I have an octura x637 on mine and it practically jumps out of the water. The are copper and hold up alot...

That thing is tight. Its gonna look sick once you get a pipe and header. Do they make a black head? If they do then that would top the whole thing off and be amazing? Whats they body for it?
