To quote a guy who had it.
"A sirio .23 can go out of tune if a fly farts within 100 yards of it! "
isnt it funny how people with (and im and using as loosely as it gets) "authority" act on the internet. trying to have a utopia so everything goes the way it "should go" and there are 0 problems...
so far from what ive been seein points are bein thrown out more often then dunks in the NBA all star game
a shame another is gone cause of something like this.
can't really give a best. The mount on the picco .26 isnt really a big deal it doesnt take long to put on. if I had to pick the best deal out of them all is the RB TM523. Comes with pipe, manifold,...
If your looking at just OS engines yes. There are more drops in engines than just the TM series. There is the RB TM 523, Picco .26 Max red dot, Sirio .27 and maybe 1-2 more i can think of.
there ya go.
Its called an opinion. If you don't like my opinion then I honestly don't care. You voiced yours I voiced mine. If you have a problem with opinion maybe you shouldn't be on forums cause last I...
yes but for the price it isnt worth it. If you can find a .18TM youd basically be having a .21 TM since their performance isnt that far apart. If you can get an 18TZ thats a great one also and does...
The DX3 gets my vote. If you can scratch 30 more dollars you can get the DX3S and get built in telemetry to tell ya temp, battery voltage, speed etc etc.
hot plugs period
freeagent if you want to be a prick who thinks they know it all be my guest your only making yourself look like the idiot. I've raced with guys who have .21TMs and 18TMs/TZ and 3.3s. The 21. TM is...
you wanna see the pictures?
IMO a .21TM is more expensive than what its really worth. Its not much better performance than a 3.3 or 18TM. TRX 3.3 gets my vote.
Honestly if your expecting a upgrade for a bashing engine I would not look at the .18TM or .21TM. I have owned a .18TM and I think its more suited towards racing (though it is no slouch for bashing)....
yes. it says for revos that its needed with starter boxes
Unless you got a big block mount for the revo then no. .21TM = smallblock...
.21 v spec = big block
big block = not small block
big block = needs big block mount for revo
no....that would not set well with some
If it is decided by largest fuel tank I could see that being in the revo's favor with tekno rc's reciever box and battery being adjustable to different tanks.
I'm using the traxxas ones for racing and they have not let me down yet.
Yes..it is a big block.
And seal the engine up just in case. Piccos are somewhat prone to leaks, but if sealed up and leak free its a beast
Also as a precaution seal the engine up with RTV. Yes picco .26s are prone to leaks, but if you don't get one its arguably the best freakin mid/smallblock you can put in a revo
THS pipe and trinity pipe comes in a very very very close 2nd
I will have pics..sometime in jan 1-4th :( my revo platinum edition and other stuff wont arrive till then
