why not use the raptor body and put the summit roll cage on it?... it looks really cool
need to lighten the mood here! sit back and watch this e-maxx 3908 bash, it's all stock except for the zip-tied rear shock tower, this truck is awesome!
ok, thanks for the tips guys, I zip-tied it back on and I'm hoping it holds until I can get a metal upgrade:cool:
thanks 87GN, like my sig says, this truck will be back in action... just as soon as I can find the darn zip-ties! haha I will look into FLM shock towers...
I just got an e-maxx! and on the 3rd run I broke the rear shock tower... so do the shock towers on the EMBE break a lot? I broke mine on a very small jump, and I'm not sure if it was a manufacturer...
ever thought what would happen if a mini revo made a summit mad? haha
that looks great! good job Markman, it really makes the summit even more scale lookin'
I see a very very easy solution for this, duct tape:cool:
I looked at how I wired it up, I didn't plug the servo in backwards, the strange thing is after I plugged the second battery in the black esc wire that was on the esc cord insantly fried and was...
would plugging the servo in backward cause it? this is the fancy servo- http://www.greathobbies.com/productinfo/?prod_id=HITHS7954S it is possible to plug this servo in backwards...
so I just got a new fancy servo for my summit and I was going to try it out for the first time, my truck is running with an LVC and two 7.4v lipos, the motor was not connected to the esc, so this is...
this truck is so awesome
these are the tires B-Rad
awesome picture Weswins! since were posting up wallpapers I have one
careful with the slingers, I stripped both servos in 5 minutes of running them, still a great tire, the raw amount of rubber on them is huge! they are not going to wear out anytime soon
just a normal day drivin' the slash 4x4:cool:
well, at least your giving some lucky guy the ability to buy a summit if he can't afford a new one:cool:
:eek:can you even put those words in the same sentence??
you need to mod some air bags on that beast:lol: at least some fast inflating balloon to help absorb the big tumbles, I bet it would pay for itself in no time:cool:
how did you get your summit up that tree:lol::lol:
great idea adding those fender flares, looks awesome:cool:
broke 3 drive shafts in a row:cool: then I took some from my rustler and I broke them all<_<
it does look nice with mudslingers:cool: you have a nice truck,
anyone else got a raptor summit?:)
I tried replacing the plastic diff cup but that didn't help at all:(
