The only heat sink I've dealt with is the one from Integy. It appears to be the only Integy product that is not junk.

Did you reset the ESC controls?
Check that the speed increases smoothly w/o jerking. If it goes to full speed before the trigger is pulled 100% stroke, the ESC / Transmitter can be re-calibrated. ...
warming / heating the mount would also cause expansion that should help too.
Using something that puts pressure on the outer race rather than the inner race would be a plus.

I wrecked my 54t Spur gear, and replaced it with 52t.
Am I thinking correctly that the difference in performance will be too insignifcant to "feel" / notice?
