Nope. Worked fine for me. I unlocked it in July 2013. It's likely server issues then. Even when I browse the forum pages, it's a little slow and erratic at times.
The 2nd video must have been expensive to produce : )
I just replaced my stock arms and suspension with the aluminium customized arms from eBay.
1. Problem 1: The pins provided don't secure the arms very securely unlike the stock arms. Stock arms...
I would like to post my car's shell and take part in this friendly! But I can't do that yet as my car is still 'works in progress'. I'm gonna 'batmanize' it! Woohoo!!
The turns are sharper so there is a danger of you turning the car more than you want, resulting in possible flips at high speed. Then again, I think you should increase your speed runs in stages. Get...
Well, I just bought replacement XO-1S GTR shocks, fitted my car with sway bars, and now awaiting my aluminium arms. Once those are fitted, I'll run the car again and post the results....keeping...
LOL! That's a good one!
Yes, pray tell...the replacement tires are NOT cheap at all : (
Yeah mine flipped over at 70+ mph! I was only on the second gear and was using the large splitter. Luckily I used car bumper protectors on the shell so that wasn't scratched too badly. But unluckily,...
I'm wondering if there's any video uploaded where someone has demonstrated running the xo-1 out of the box to its maximum potential without mods and without it flipping over? As long as I don't see...
If you bash your car that far away, you'd probably not be able to see very well for your tow truck to get to it, manoeuvre around it and bring it back to you. Then, you'd probably need to install a...
I tried driving the xo-1 without and with the sway bars. With makes the car firmer and more responsive to turns. That's my opinion which I believe most people here will tell you.
Oh I forgot one important info, I adjusted both the front and back cambers, which resulted in this. I have readjusted the camber back to stock now...lesson learnt
In total I just ran my xo-1 four times: once on the track and thrice on the road.
In my last run, I bashed it up pretty good doing spins, hard braking and immediate stops by sliding the car s80...
Great to have you onboard DiggerPede!
I ran my car on a track similar to the one you showed. Just be careful. The track may have a little curb at the edge - sometimes both edges. These curbs are...
Hi guys, I just wanna bring to your attention a very super glue (that really works) for all those breakages (instead of or while waiting for replacement parts). The name of this glue is Rapid Fix. It...
Thanks ponie. So if I put all the advice together, I should install the softer sway bar in front and the stiffer one behind. I will use this combination and see how it goes first.
When you make the front of the car lighter, wouldn't that logically make the car flip sooner? Isn't that the law of physics?
Thanks for the good tip! I did this to my clips too and they're much easier to handle now..
Is the installation of the sway bars adjustable? As in can I choose how stiff I want the sway bars to act? Like in camber gain?
Here is a video of my xo-1. It's not complete yet. I'm a gonna morph it into a batmobile : )
Perhaps they didn't install the 100mph splitter as standard because the car couldn't fit in the box when installed with it?
Nice. Looks like the Knight Rider!
Do you mind showing us a pic of your ride? A video would be better!
