Thanks for the compliments.
I've tossed around a couple of ideas for a body. Sheetmetal might be kind of cool, especially after it gets a few dents in it. I don't know if that would cause RF...
It's a Zenoah G230RC with the Traxxas tuned pipe.
The Monster Buggy lives. It runs HARD. Peels out when you take off, does donuts, drifts, and the tires even squeal while you're doing it.
It is so much fun.
Here's something I thought up.
For one year of running, every Sunday, about half a gallon per run on the Jato.
Jato 3.3 $385
24 gallons of fuel $1080
12 glow plugs $84
2 3.3 ERPs:...
That's the castor oil burning. Reminds me of old-school motocross races when I was a kid.
Just run it like that. If something gets in your way, turn.
Stay out of the barley fields and you won't burn up your stuff.
You don't balance your mega nipple hydrates that's why your stuff is slow on the track.
Thank you. You are extremely cool and I like your boat advice. I'm going to follow your prop advice for my 2.5 Nitro Vee.
I'm thinking about putting two 3.3 engines in a Villain hull, and would like some pointers on how to do it. I figure I will use two pickups for water cooling, and run copper tubing...
So... Tonight I ran my E-Maxx on twin 2S 8000 mAh LiPos, with the MaxAmps LVA low-voltage alarms. It was at night, so the blue LEDs were kind of cool in the body there.
It ran HARD. I have 21T...
They were around $850 street price and were sold until about a year ago.
No, mine just needs some attention.
It be GOOD!
I'm gonna rig up a spark plug in the exhaust so it shoots flames.
You could always trade your wife for a Monster Buggy.
It's a series connection so the empty connector has to have a jumper on it.
Yeah, part 5614
Correct, it will not cut off power.
Yes, one for each battery. The correct type for each battery also. If running dual 3S batteries, a 3S LVA is needed.
I've heard people mention that a single 4S or 6S unit can be used, but that's...
That Yah-toe crunks most
Those are a goofy setup due to the two batteries. The only way to accurately keep track of each battery is to install two 2S SmartStops and use Y-Cables between the receiver and the ESC.
I've used two Triton JR chargers for a while now, both hooked to a single 10A power supply, and they've worked really well for me. I use Maxamps Method Balancers for my LiPo batteries.
I say if you're gonna go big, you should go big.
OS FF-320. Click the picture for specs.
There is a center diff available. I haven't raced one, so others with more experience can give you more info on how it affects handling on the track.
