I just asked permission to spend some money. haha *high-five*
I say go with
2. Spektrum DX3S Transmitter and SR3300 receiver
those things are just plain sexy.
I really like the way that looks.
I think that is the route I am going to go.
the upper tmaxx a arms will fit..... I just got stuck on the axel carrier and drive shaft part lol
and post pics :)
I'm definitely not liking the sloppy rear end. I think the MT rear end stinks.
I think I read on here that ruster a arms fit on the bandit?
I guess I want what ever ones will give me the widest...
I love the lipo too.
I love mine so much I use it as a pillow, sure it's dangerous, but love makes a man do crazy things.
with a dremel and some duct tape you could make it go from
the "=" being where the duct tape is.
I don't imagine that it would hold up under stress too well....
If he had two, I'd buy them both.
ahhhhh... ok, didn't realize that. I just went with what the guy at the hobby shop said.
who makes parts like shocks, chassis parts, etc... that is good?
I know of RPM, their stuff seems to be...
I was wondering how long it would be before someone said that.
I always see integy bashing posts, but I haven't actually seen any reasons why people tend to dislike their products.
Hook me up with...
I put a little spacer on the tranny side, obviously it didn't work too well.
I'll try the wheel side next and let you know how it works out.
the drive shafts are a little too short, the only thing faster than the car is the speed at which the drive shafts fly out.
everything else works great though.
definitely going to need...
yeah the whole thing started when I twisted off my coupler, I thought it was the spur gear. then I noticed that the little arms on the coupler were just kinda gone... lol.
It kills me that they...
With a little help from the dremel, I now have the MT A-arms, steel axles and wheels on my bandit.
I had to steal some shocks off my T-Maxx, the OEM bandit and the MT shocks were too little. It was...
so basically go with a 3.3 drive-train?
Sorry I'm not familliar with all the part names.
Most of the time I look them up and I'm like "oh, ok, that's what that is.... now where does it go?"
I thought the rear end looked wider.
What shock setting would you recommend? There are like 3 mounting points on the shock tower and 4 on the a-arm, or do I have it the other way around?
I read the...
After reading your reply I remembered that right after I got my tmaxx one of the first things I did was completely disassemble it, clean it, re-lube it and put it back together.
I cleaned both...
oh decisions decisions!!!
plastic is cheaper and will work with my current setup
if get steel then I HAVE to get a bigger engine....
hmmmmm what to do
I ended up staying at work. ugh.
Servers should know not to crash when I'm not feeling well.
since I am replacing shafts anyway, should I just go aluminum/steel/whatever?
or would that end up...
well that's freaking awesome!
I'm leaving work early today because I am sick...... but not too sick to swing by hobbytown and grab the 4908 shafts.
I mean, seriously, it's just a bad cold, it's...
Those won't have any issues connecting to the diff, will they?
thanks for the answer btw, I appreciate it.
I have a 2.5 T-maxx and I just installed the RPM true track rear a-arms, but the stock drive shafts don't fit in the larger inside bearing.
The end of the drive shaft it too large, it sorta works...
I am going to have to agree with you.
The paralysis is very dangerous too..... I mean you wouldn't want your face to get stuck like that, you know, having to hear "What are you grinning about?"...
very cool, several of those parts are already on my list of things I wanted to get.
What size hex adapters? are they just rustler hex adapters?
I have 2 8cell 3600's and a 5000mAh lipo, the lipo...
oh nice! I like the way that looks, especially with the shock towers too, mine are a bit skinned up already heh, the car spends almost as much time upside down as it does on it's wheels.
