Here's a link that might help.
Looks great! Why did you keep your rear bumper on when you installed the wing mount? I just wanted to know because I have seen a few people run it like this. I took my rear bumper off because I...
Also, if it's cold you need to warm it up first with a heat gun or hair dryer. I'm in Va and I know its colder there in NY.
If you have a good tuned motor, you won't have any problems with a pull start. When a nitro motor is cold, it doesn't matter what starter system you use. Mine will start on 2nd to 3rd pull almost...
I like the pull start a lot better. Don't have to carry around the ez start wand or charge another battery.
What servo are you running and did you check to make sure that the pivot ball screws are not too tight?
Try recentering your servos. Here's a link that explains it: http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/center-servo/g-center-servo.asp
Thanks Oomp! Do you know if they make the part that holds the pads?
It's not supposed to fully close, but there should be a small gap when it's in the close position.
You might have to turn your carb, it might be binding.
Are you going to build it from the ground up?
Thanks, I didn't know you could do this. That's why this forum is awesome.
How much money are you willing to spend?
joey79: Just loosen the slipper a bit.
Sounds like you have a loose slipper. The carb isn't supposed to close all the way. There should be a little gap when it is closed. If it is open it will act like it's idling really high.
Yes, the FOC will fix it. It will eliminate the reverse gear the one that broke and the opti-drive. You can't just take out the reverse gear and put it back together.
Check your slipper or your drive shafts.
Sounds like something is melting. Do you have any pics?
It happens. I did it when I first got my Rustler.
Yes, I had problems during and after break in. Once I figured the factory settings were too rich, it opened up.
Thanks, I didn't know about this.
In my case, it was the LSN. Mine is really touchy. I just make small adjustments with it.
Try the HSN at 5-6 turns out.
Try the LSN at 5.5 turns out.
I see no other way to get to the screws that hold the drive shafts to the diffs.
