I run Trencher X's on 1/2" offset Desperadoes on my ERBE and the stock Geodes (also 1/2" offset) on my Summit.
You gotta go 1/2" offset IMO - now you gotta choose tires.
Rear shafts are more often than not the ones that pop out. I have them in the front and rear because as I said, they do not bind and therefore add extra "pop out protection" with no downside.
Did you just ask how to clean tires??
Beadlocks don't hold as good as glued tires just re glue them.
Are you sure the steering trim on your tx isn't off centre?
What about the servo horn - does it rub on the chassis when turning in the direction that it struggles? Check for signs of rubbing under...
Install the extended drive cups!! They have do not bind with the stock arms either so there is no reason not to install them and they stop the popping out so there's plenty of reason to install them!!
About time - I was getting sick of you saying "my stock diffs are fine after 10 months" haha :)
Did you buy the badlands pre mounted?? Mistake No#2 - should have bought them separate & taped them - worth it even for bashing.
Just wondering why you'd go for the X-01 motor if you are building...
Yeah sounds like you have just not aligned it when you installed it as mentioned above.
Take the servo horn off and turn you car & radio on so that the servo centers itself, then with it still on,...
Pics?? Wanna see what you did
Hoping his name wasn't Kenny.
It's very simple - unscrew the grub screw holding the stock shafts on and then use the same grub screw to fix the drive cups to the diff output shafts. Slide the axle through the hub and put the dog...
If you're throwing money away I'll take some!! Building any rc from parts is significantly more expensive than buy an new or used one or even a roller and going from there.
You'll likely find that...
What is stopping the motor from moving over further to make a slightly tighter mesh??
Bash it like someone else is doing the wrenching!
Remember - A hammer is not an RC tool. If you are using a hammer, you have missed something - possibly an E clip :)
No Tru track will not limit your choice of tires or drive shafts.
Wait what?? You have snapped two sets of centre drive Line pins without even getting them installed??
You are doing something very wrong!!
Not really sure what you mean by "snapped two sets...
I run the Dusty motors shroud - zip is handy!
I would highly recommend getting the regular rpm arms at the front and the Tru Track in the rear!!!!! Sets your toe so you never have to worry about it again, rock solid and a great upgrade IMO
Yeah the diffs hold up well to brushless 4S power. I also have trencher X's and they are great on it.
I switched to a single high torque steering servo so it turns the tires no worries.
It is very simple - a sign of excellent engineering :)
You place the round motor end plate over the rear of the motor and screw it down to the rear shock mounts. They give you slightly longer...
Welcome, or should I say welcome back :)
For drive shafts there are a few options, some go with the Summit driveshafts, I run the traxxas steel CVD's (with extended drive cups) and others run the...
Nope that piece is only for the Revo not the E-Revo
+1 on the HPP hubs! They are they best! So is the rear motor brace they make, do yourself a favour and buy both at the same time.
I have both so I feel I am qualified to assist :)
I have a near bulletproof E-Revo that is FAST and has many upgrades and mods to make it perform and handle better as well as being more durable.
