Yes both have the same part numbers.
I broke one pivot ball cap on my mini e revo and was wondering if anybody has just one or a couple they will sell to me because I don't really need the pivot balls and ect. Included in TRA7033
You could try the FLM diff, I think that it is sealed and you also could try and seal your stock diff and use fluid to tune it, I think there is a tutorial somewhere around here.
Yes, a 2 cell is roughly the same voltage as stock but the 3 cell will produce to much heat for stock gearing
I know I never thought that aluminum bulks were necessary for my type of driving but now I know they are necessary
Shock towers were undamaged but I am going to get some FLM bulks soon, I did this after a 8-9 ft jump landing directly on the rear end, the front bulk broke after hitting a pole but I didn't notice...
Just went out and bashed the t-maxx today, FLM here I come!
This is the optidrive off of my t-maxx 4909, the taps have been but for a jr receiver but it works perfectly and is in good shape
You can try priming it to get the fuel out
If you cold hold ur thumb on there for 2 seconds without burning your thumb it should be fine but it's best to get a temp gun, they are really handy and relatively inexpensive.
You may need to gear down, if you can't hold your thumb to the motor for two seconds then you are running to hot, just a little trick to use
Fuel usually only gets into the pressure line when you first fill the tank to the top, after running the pressure should force out the fuel.
Then some nice sealed bearing should be just fine.
I wouldn't pack the diff with grease, if you are going to use grease I'd use a good green like Lucas red and tacky #2 that will not want to come off of the gears. That works a lot better than just...
If when you set it down and it stalls and dies it sounds like a worn clutch spring to me but I would be wrong.
I am always breaking stub axles left and right, I'm thinking of buying some flm cvds
When you take the air filter off and look into the carb is the carb open more than 0.7-1mm open at idle? also go to full throttle and back a few times to see if it is getting stuck.
Not to thread jack or anything but I just thought I'd ask here instead of a whole new thread, I love the look of nitro truggy bodies where the body kind of angles backwards like the losi bodies and I...
Let us know how it goes, good luck!
Those pro-line tanks are notorious for being fragile and break all the time, if you are going to upgrade to a bigger tank I suggest relocating your receiver pack and using a ofna violator tank. Do a...
Correct, the higher the kv is like the lower the turns on a regular brushed motor, the lower the kv has more torque. You need to find a balance with kv gearing and heat.
Might be all talk, I've never seen a mammoth but it isn't always a competition especially with monster trucks just have fun and don't give in is what I'd do but let's see what you have already and we...
I say either a shock shaft or a broken shock tower.
The vxl motor is a 3500 kv motor so that should be faster than the vxl.
I know that castle makes some of the best motors you can get so you cannot go wrong with them, personally I run a mamba max and a vxl motor and it is fast and runs cool and even pops wheelies with...
