Go to the pit pass portion of the site. Slaydens steering mods work wonders. And they are free. The best kind of mod!!!
And here it is in a Revo (the .28 XZ):
BTW, I couldn't get it to work with the Traxxas BB kit. I used the Qoncepts kit.
As always, top notch work. I swear by your stuff. Always great stuff, and that CF brace is no exception. A fantastic idea.
Kgombe was running 14/40, but with Slayer gears. I don't recall what ratio transmission he was running.
Nope. They sure don't. Super Chargers are a gimmick that should be avoided.
A common misconception on these two stroke RC motors are that they suffer because not enough air/fuel mix gets into...
Could be a broken clutch spring or bad Clutch bell bearings. Take a look there too.
Search any of Over_revO's posts.
He has a nitro Revo doing 65. I've yet to see an E-Revo clocked at that speed.
I got one. Its for sale. It didn't fit with my OS .28. PM me if interested.
Its brand new. I opened it to try it and it didn't fit. The engine was too big and to far back
George's Supermaxx is really cool.
Revoroller13+, you said:
It is simply not true. You can agree with who you want, but making broad blanket statements that are simply incorrect, and you will get called on it. I don't care if...
I'm not arguing. Its just not right to say that anything over a .21 is a Big Block because its simply not true. I don't know of anyone that refers to the OS .21 TM as a big block.
There is a little more to installing it (the Qoncepts brace). You have to drill two holes so that it will bolt to the chassis.
I've never had the M2C brace so I can't say whether or not it will...
Typically a pan style (truggy) chassis has the diffs above the chassis, not below it. MTs usually have the diffs below the chassis.
This isn't entirely accurate. There is a weird category...
A gallon on shocks and diffs. Once a year on the whole truck.
That, of course, depends on how much you drive it. If you drive it 10 gallons a year, you will need to tear it down before then.
Here is a picture of the Qoncepts brace. It is GREAT. Never had the M2C, but the Qoncepts is a real improvement.
LOL, you speak the truth!
Or for 319 you could have the OS .28 XZ! And still have more power than the .21!
Yeah, to get it done right, there are a few options. M2C is a great setup, but shoes are not readily available at the LHS.
To me, the best option was with the Qoncepts flywheel, Mugen MBX5T...
I agree the Speed version is worth it. It will not make as much as an AB Modded V-Spec, but it is a sweet little mill that puts out more power than a stock Revo can handle.
Just get a OS .28 XZ..... LOL. That should solve anyone's need for power!
Guaranteed to rip up parts... No need to mod it!
40s are hard on outer wheel bearings. I recommend the LPRs or MTRs. Badlands will fit on both, they just take some stretching to get them over the LPR rims.
The cracks I have seen are usually on the Fuel Tank Support arm.
Jeff is right. You need the Traxxas Big Block Kit Throttle Bell Crank Mount. That thing works great. I use it too. I also use it with the Blue Groove Forward Throttle Servo Mount. No binding...
I think xtcvapor runs the Mach 26 on his single speed Revo. I would suggest the Qoncepts flywheel with Mugen collet, nut, shoes, and springs. Top it off with a Savage CB and you should be good to...
Totally agree. The GTRs and variable rate pistons are absolutely the best shocks out there for the Revo.
