What weight fluid did you put in the center diff?
Yup the traxxas 2.4 radios are very nice. The traxxas link app makes switching models a breeze!
Hmm I might be interested in the new release truck. Seems like a nicely refined model.
If the truck came with this stock, i might of opened the box and kept it.
Remove the opti drive control module. Plug your throttle and shift servos directly into the receiver. Sounds like the built in fail safe is malfunctioning.
Check out super bright leds .com they have all sorts of bulbs for every application. They list voltages, temperatures, and lumens.
You can search my last two emaxx builds under my profile. But I had very good luck with aluminum products from Rc Raven. They sell on ebay. Those are the chassis braces and skids I would go with.
Good aluminum chassis braces and skid plates will most definitely help.
The xmaxx esc should still have a training mode. Which is 50% power. I had one but never even opened it. Sold it off. I have personally not used the sock method. But the idea would be to insulate...
They recommend using a small sock to cover all or part of the cooling head. Same principle as putting cardbord over a car radiator. Helps it warm up faster and keep a more consistant temp.
Yea I wouldn't bother trying to bend it. Just contact Traxxas and make them aware of your issue. Perhaps its a bad batch of headers.
Huh yea thats not even close. Whats the part number on it?
did you get the bump start backplate on?
Mine sometimes did this when the clutch got warm with the stock flywheel. It seems much better with the vented 40mm flywheel.
Can you take some pictures and post them?
I've never had a problem with traxxas hexs as long as you use traxxas wheels.
I have a two nitros, love them both. Revo for bashing, xxxnt ad2 for racing.
The truck belonged to a ex son in law of his. It got left in his basement. Not sure he really knew much about it. Which is why he gave me such a good deal. I did some quick calculations the other day...
Thats a serious motor! You might want to ditch that pipe though, for something less restrictive. How many tanks did you get out of the 3.3?
Installed my sensors today, along with the 40mm flywheel with the magnet. Looking forward to trying them out tomorrow!
Unfortunatly the traxxas bowtie style tires only come in 17mm premounted. The tires themselves might fit a set of 14mm wheels though.
Its a 15 tooth.
You want a half offset wheel, that with give you a wider stance. Also a lower ride height will help. Or just braking before you corner.

Many companies make them
I'd love to meet up in the spring and bash a bit. None of my friends that race are really into bashing much. I ran 2 tanks through my truck around the yard today. Engine continues to get sronger the...
