Stayt away from the hardened steel tranny gears. You don't want anything metal in your transmission. the tranny has a plastic set in so that it's a supported weak link. So if you replace plastic with...
the clutch can go real fast sometimes other time it will run for a while or the spring breaks and thats the part you need needle nose pliers work great
looks good welcome to the madness that is the Jato.
least it wasn't a mailbox. Right NN
RPM is the way to go with the Jato. You will wreck and you will break stuff.
The Jato is a great nitro. As has been said before RPM bumpers and A-arms are the way to go that is a better investment then garbage can parts (oops I meant to say Integy).
check the slipper
Thanks I thik Ford calls it Grabber Blue now when the car was redone it was called Richard Petty Blue
ok this is me and my full size toy

I use the traxxas cvds and I love them real durable too

check the clutch shoes sounds like a broken spring
ummm chalk it up to a recession? Inflation? Or just stupidity

The Road Rage are a good set as well. You may want to see about the fluid in your diff as well. I run 120k in mine to stop the unloading issue to one side. I know some guys will go less thick but you...
they are the dyeable white so you can choose your color
street hawgs are good TP I use the dish rims from traxxas
try going with a thicker diff fluid between 70k to 90k I use 120k in mine and no tire spin
Another good upgrade replace the bushings with bearings in the brake lever and in the steering linkage as well. I apologize TP I am tearing my Jato apart lol and coming across things and posting them...
I don't use them but I never noticed a difference with them running stock. However there are people on both sides of that fence
Hope you have an RPM bumper ordered also
