I'm guessing that the 32p spur uses the same slipper clutch assembly as 48?
Can anyone link to the 32p stuff I'd need to convert over?
I have the the slipper set between 1/8-1/4 turn
I hit the jump. Let off the throttle. Landed. Hit the throttle. Stripped.
If my issue is with the motor shifting after impact then how is a 32p going to help?
I finally had a chance to run last night (it's been a hectic 2 weeks). Ran fine for 15 minutes then I hit my first jump and ..... grreetktkjscsssssssdgttttttdt. This is absolutely ridiculous. I was...
I reset it last night with a 17/90. I'll have to try and run it tonight after I get home from work.
Good to know about Robinson. That's what I just picked up :(
I'm going to give it one more shot with a 48p spur. I'll pick up a couple 90t spurs and a 17t pinion and try my luck.
If it doesn't work are there any particular 32p spurs I should go with?
The last couple of times it seems to have occurred after some heavy bashing. I think I have the stock motor screws. Should i look into something else? Also, at least once I heard the strip occur when...
Yeah I've been doing the paper method. What gearing would you recommend?
Should I drop down to a 16-17t pinion? Stock 86t spur or something else?
I can't go a run without stripping a spur gear
I'm running a VXL system on 2s 5200mah 30c lipos
21t pinion and 86t or 90t spurs (i've run both)
rolling on 30 series badlands
I let my wife drive my slash for the first time the other day. She goofed off for a few minutes, went off the jump a couple of times then proceeded to plow full speed into our 3 yr old son's shin....
I stripped them with Easy-Off and dyed them. They look much better in black.
Ummm good to know
Well I finally finished my Baja MT. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. This is the first time I've painted a body in at least 15 years. It is a Candy Red backed by racing silver with metallic...
Thanks. Any advice on sanding and cleaning up some of the edges? Before or after painting?
Ok so i've gotten my baja all trimmed down with the exception of the body mounts & wing mount holes. I washed the body out and wore latex gloves while trimming but the inside still looks a bit dirty....
I'm getting ready to paint my Baja Bug MT. I'm probably going with a two tone candy red & metallic black. Still trying to work out the exact design (i'm a graphic designer and take entirely way too...
Add $9 for the chassis saver... just installed mine
I've got a set of 4 torque 30 series rear wheels. Is this going to be a problem on the front of my slash? I have the protrac suspension kit.
for some reason i thought taping a tire was more complicated than that
the new 30series tires/wheels and chassis saver should be in on Wed. Do i need to tape the Badlands? If so what tape am i supposed to do and are there videos on how to do it?
I broke the chassis where it connects to the rear shock tower (seems to be pretty common). So I picked up a new chassis today and ordered a PL chassis saver. Also ordered 30 series Torque rear wheels...
When I get the badlands I'm going to get another body as well. I'm thinking the Baja Bug body. I shouldn't need to do any trimming with that right?
For the 2.2/3.0 wheels should I go with Switch or Trenchers for all around bashing or something else entirely? Or should I just pick up (4) 2.2 rears and throw some Badlands or Gladiators on them?
