I thought of that, but I thought trying to waterproof a servo would have been more of a pain. I really don't know though.
I think I'll do it then, cause I have some FPV gear on my car now and the weight is a little more which means more strain on the servo.
2 slots for channel 1??? Wow. I didn't look at the receiver that close. I just thought it was basic 6 channel Rx. I'll have look a little more closely next time.
So, if I was to use a separate channel in the Rx how to I get the radio (stock) to recognize it?
If I wanted to use two steering servos would I use a "Y" harness for the two servos or put each lead into a separate port on the receiver.
Please note: I'm using the stock Tx & Rx.
I got the answer form Traxxas Support. Here it is:
It was used to program the transmitter at the factory. There is no user application for it.
Really??? But there are a bunch of ports, which is the power? Which is the +&-?
I'm not sure if anyone has asked this... But, does anyone know what the little port is in the stock Tx battery compartment?
I guess I'm looking for something with as long range as posible because I'm doing FPV. I thought about droping my Optima Rx in the car and using my Aurora 9. I know the Aurora 9 has great range as...
I've been thinking about getting the FS-GT3B but I don't know what to expect from the range.
I just tested a little FPV with my Merv and I found the range for controlling the car wasn't exactly stellar. Do other people find limited range with the Traxxas Radio? Is it wise to get...
Cool, I didn't know that.
Yeah, I live in Canada to and lately I've been getting dinged at customs.
Nice!!! I guess I'll try 2.
Does anyone know if these will fit in the Merv?
So, where can I find these SPC batteries?
I just looked at the 2s 2200mhp batteries from Dynamite, and to my chagrin, they were really expensive. Does anyone know of another brand of 2s 2200mhp batters that will fit in the battery...
I was only able to find one pair of the TRX7245 blues in my city. So I put them on the back and it seems pretty good, I think. I only think they are good as I haven't been able to...
And just to make sure, these are the springs for the Mini Summit, correct?
My drive shaft is stock. My rocker arms are aluminum while the adjustable arms (I guess these are the dogbones) are the stoock plastic.
So that being said, Could someone suggest which...
A couple of Questions.
What are CVDs?
Please remind me of what Dog Bones are? Are they the rods that are adjustable or the other ones that are not adjustable?
Which cup are you talking about? I...
I replaced my shocks with the Traxxas Aluminum shocks and replaced the oil with 50 weight. I also put the black springs on the shock (colour is red with a black dot on the end). I've...
could you post a link to what these are? I have no idea what they are.
I wouldn't store them in your car in case they swell. If they swell you may not get it out without damage to your car. Personally I built a fire proof box to store my lipos in. I heard of cases where...
What are tie rod ends?
