looks great. wish I had an area within walking distance that was all dirt like that cause it's all grass around here. I've been thinking about cutting out a bash spot in the back yard.
great. makes me think your plastic case was damaged in some way that wasn't visible.
well i don't see any out there right now from the big chop shops, but something like this...
point being to replace the diff case, output bearings,...
Then I have to go with Double G. something else is damaged that's leading to the repeated diff gear failures. might want to pick up a loaded diff from ebay, then it's all new. and im sure you've...
ouch. you're doing this much damage with the stock power system? dare I ask what kind of running conditions?
awesome. my boxer always tries to bite the tires, even at high speed :fear:
they both fly like dump trucks. if you want some seriously controllable flight, 1/8th buggy is what you want. that being said, the revo can be modded to act kind of like an 1/8th buggy (small tires,...
the early production ESC's had an issue that could lead to a 'thermal event'. the original fix for these was to remove the standard jumper wire from the truck and replace it with a different piece of...
truck looks great on that outdoor track. did you happen to see the video from my thread running my truck on an indoor clay track?

rcmanchild: for the deans, i set the wire on top of the solder tip and angle the tip slightly. then i touch the solder to both the wire and the tip at the same time. tins the wire...
that thing looks so mean. your light straw headlights and taillights really put this one over the top. keep up the amazing work!
terrific find, I had no idea it was adjustable. thanks.
i must have the unicorn truck, I used the self righting a ton and never had any issues with the drive train. I can't use it any more because I've geared up and because I don't want to wreck my...
you have to remove the servo horn, turn on the radio and the truck, center the steering trim on the radio, and reattach the horn with the wheels centered.
there's already an aftermarket option for an adjustable servo saver.
Hot Racing Aluminum Servo Saver Bellcrank Steering Adj
i was kidding.
the xmaxx tires are 8 inches tall.
the stock servo makes 365 oz/in of torque
the servo torque is transferred to the tires through the servo saver.
so I say turning the big...
summit has the same problem. if I recall correctly, the apocalypse body is the only aftermarket option that fits the stock exo cage.
I'd say 8 inch tires vs 365 in/oz is a pretty good test ;)
if you plan on spending a lot of time in the water, you should clean out the stock grease in the bearings and pack them with the blue marine grease. it will add a lot of resistance in the driveline...
i remember the UE craze. I remember drooling over all of their parts. but i didn't have the disposable income back then so i could never get in on the action.
btw, some VERY nice rides you had...
where are you guys getting them? i've been watching ebay for them and tower keeps pushing their date out for them just like they did with the xmaxx when it first came out.
:woot: This is gonna be good! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
SLW: thanks for letting that cat out of the bag ;)
music to my ears! don't get me wrong, 4-strokes sound neat in their own way, but nothing beats the sound of my 2-stroke YZ wide open at full song headed up the huge hill at our MX track.
interesting, I wonder if we are wearing something out causing the saver to be even looser. i'll definitely check next time I tear mine down, I'm too busy driving the thing lol.
uh oh, it might be time to go for even bigger air!
