It also could help to stop driving when a strange noise comes from your car.
I also had these problems and the noise was so ugly, I got (how do you say in english?) goose pimples.
Your bad if you...
Or by using a shower cap.
After rebuilding my diffs about twenty times and giving feedback to a good german manufacturer, he found out that hardening such small pinions is very difficult. They often become too hard and break...
Double post, sorry!!
What is the difference between the front and the rear hubs?
If you mount THIS wheel in front? Does it wobble??
I'm driving the Savox 1256TG in my summit. It works fine, 1000% better than stock ones.
1230 is a lot stronger, should also work fine.
Mine sounds like that if the play between spur and pinion is too big.
The movement of the shaft you show in the beginning of the vid is nearly zero on mine.
But that mustn't be a problem.
Uhh, that's bad. Can You protect the motors against that?
Here are some pics, you'll see how I installed the ramps:
The play between spur and Pinion is ok? If not, you get a lot of noise.
madkawi650: nice pic, lightly overmotorized, is it yours? How does it run? Poor Renault...
they are worth every cent, believe me! Also his gears.
I'm almost sure they are in stock, you have to contact Georg, he's very kind and fair, talk to him about the price.
I think he can do...
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
I didn't work on it for some months but this and the other trailer thread gave me new inspiration and new ideas.
Changes on my trailer will follow and I'm going to...
I also love these tires. You will be happy with the performance, they work good on all surfaces.
But you should lower the body to make it look FAT !
If you will have to screw them out, you better change them into stainless ones, i.m.o.
So you solve the rust problem forever.
I never had any issues with my ss screws.
Does'nt it ??
This are the 8-hole Axials with BogJoes.
They are looking great, they are working great (for me!), the Joe seems to be a good allround tire,...
If I would have done this to all my rusty Summit screws....http://www7.pic-upload.de/27.12.12/jftld3epw9d9.jpg
Edstoys, a friend did it on the lathe of our police departments garage :)
From the inner side to the holes are 2mm now, that's enough.
If you don't have a police department with a lathe you can...
With my Axial rims the only part rubbing at the a-arms and links were the inner beadlock rings.
I narrowed the inner side of the ring and now they only scratch when I give full steering and pressure...
....and that works great in mine with the MMM 2200 combo.
You only have to widen the holes of the disc a little bit, that's all.
Inspired by this thread I built this one:
Light wires and...
Yeah guys, very nice pics and vid's.
Hope it will be continued!!
The plow is ok for playing around in light snow, not for hard work.
Mine, two years ago...
My balls don't rust. :p
I give them a shot of Teflon Spray (dry lube) from time to time and don't have any probs.
You know, I would have changed them if I saw rust. I hate rust!! :)
first of all, what advantage do you hope to have with these balls?
Finally found the pic.
Some screws are missing, I threw them away before taking the pic.
