After 'reading' a lot and 'trial-and-error' issues...You are 100% correct! I went with the 'medium' glue.(Best for me and such)

Using one's GF or Wife's Nail Polish Remover ain't a good issue!(Plus, it's stink to high heaven!)

I have to agree and disagree....When used correctly, Rubbing Alcohol for most apps is the way-to-go.
Adheres glues and tapes to metals, plastic and rubber 'stronger' than 'Soap-and-water'...
This might be a silly comment or question at best; Did you check the pressure plate? Is it still smooth or does it have groves on it?

Well, boys will be boys! I have a 17yr old son, now and he just upgraded is 4yr old p2pe after Christmas.

I ran the original Titan and gearing for 2yrs in my P2de and no issues. Maintenance issues...all I did was blow the motor out with compressed air and used air-a-sol silicone spray for lubrication...
+1 It does sound like our Titan 500 motor has failed, sorry.
