You need to tighten the set screw of the two speed hub to the rear shaft. that will fix your problems
My guess is that you dont even realize that it is shifting into 2nd. because the 3.3 revs higher and quicker it becomes alot less noticable
like said before check your differentials and also check out the tweak of your tec

OK i figured the problem out. The starter wheel on the bump box was turning the motor over the wrong way. I switched polarities on the motor and it fired right up.
