have you considered GTRs & losi springs ? that's my truck in post 83 and GTRs were the saswet to me suspension needs.
you runnin' upgraded cvds or stock shafts ?
i always always been a fan of the strc bellcranks and aluminum horns with servo upgrades to remove some of the front end play.
i'm right up the road in somerset county.
there's a bmx track down in lumberton (at the municipal building) that's a great bash spot if you're interested. if you head north at all you can run at...
roughly where abouts are you in jersey ?
i had a lousy experience with a tenshock motor once. my vote hobbywing all the way.
the battery clip on the lcg chassis is less than reliable when big air bashing. put a small foam block under the clip to keep it from slipping out and get a set of velcro straps to help it from being...
it's in the manual
decide what you want for the future of your truck before making the aluminum jump. aluminum shock towers bend, some aluminum carriers don't work with some cvds, i'd stick with plastic arms... it's...
nice use of those cases, i've looked at them several times myself.
see if you can find a way to mount the cases to your DRZ for some real off road adventures !

+1 on the trinidads. altho my vote is a little skewed because using 17mm hexes has a pretty limited selection.
i made one as well from heated and bent lexan.
i hated that stupid tenshock motor. i use only hobbywing motors now.
i have never had a tekin speed controller die in any vehicle i've had. i have had 3 MMPs die. i vote tekin if your willing to drop the coin. i'd pass on the tekin motor tho and look at getting a...
pvc sleeved tires on the rally would be pretty good at that i think, and you can convert your slash to the rally with just a few parts..
i shoe goo a additional 1" square of lexan scrap on the body at the body mounts to reinforce that area a little bit more.
(the front holes are drilled twice...
i've had nothing buy good buying and selling experiences over at rctech.net.
parma makes some nice ones
imho the front battery hold down is severely lacking as well as the "usable" chassis space on the nose and above the servo. i'd love to see an aftermarket nose insert that would allow... better speed...
