Here it is with an adapter I made today
Melts the solder quick.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/24/1bd31d79aa7943400d786f1717f11b30.jpg
I use a soldering iron from hobby lobby. It's a plug in pencil type and it's 100w. Cheap and gets hot enough to do almost any connections you will need to do. I have never had a problem. It's around...
I'm sure running the motor with no load for that long could do some kind of damage
No offers yet. Roller with servo $250 shipped
Make an offer. With or without radio
Lowers to $425 shipped. Don't miss out on a great deal. Tons of brand new upgrades
I have one for sale In the mp. Most call it a slash mt but it wouldn't need much to make it a pede again. Way better than new stock one if you want to make an offer on it.
This has lots of $$ into it with NEW parts. Make an offer. I am flexible in price. Looking to sell quick
I got this truck off of eBay. It was a guys project that he never finished. Unfortunately I haven't either. All hopups are new and never ran. Mamba/2400 is new and never ran. Still needs battery...
You don't have to back with black. I've backed with silver lots of times. Also another tip. I use a spare decal and put it on the painted side where the body post holes go and cut the hole in them....
I have the slash chassis, protrac arms and full offset wheels. I bought it modded like that from eBay. Still never ran it. I need to glue the tires and get lipo/charger
I have had both and I find the p4de is stronger. The maxx is so heavy that even with beefy shocks it bottoms out on small jumps.
I used a mmm/2200 on 4s for a while. Way too much power. I had the grave digger tires without foam. It was all over the place with high speeds
Love the aluminum foil over the shocks. On a serious note, what tires are those? They look awesome on the pede. Looking good man. But it will hurt to see that shiny blue get scratched up!
Sparking shouldnt be too big of an issue with 2s & 3s. Now plugging in 6s makes a big spark. Scared me the first few times lol
Yep. Could be the reason for no more wheelies. Tighten up the slipper
I had a savox that was power hungry and the reciever would shut down for a few seconds when I turned too much. I ordered a novak glitch buster capacitor that plugs into the reviever and it solved the...
I have used a plastic hammer and put the shaft on a piece of wood. Roll and smack until straight-ish.
I put electric tape on the front side of both bearings. That was just enough clearance to make it smooth.
I noticed the rear end was bad. Axles would bind up and make noise turning by hand. Took it apart and shimmed the diff. No more noise but it was still binding up. Took a while to find the culprit....
Got the truck in yesterday. Everything looks good. No way to test esc/motor but ends havent been soldered so I will take his word for it. From a quick lookaround I noticed it has rpm front and rear...
Thanks. Will be my second pede 4x4. The first one I had a mmm/2200 and it was just overkill.
