Why? Are you crawling?
[Edit] Sorry, didn't answer the question...Disregard
"I noticed that when the last set of bearings burned out the clutch bell was VERY HOT"
Well, I think your shoes are slipping... What mill you runnin?
I still have a 8-Trug, XRay bug, and I would never part with the 2 Revo's:)
And my oldest has a Nitro Sport now:eek:
Runs in the family I guess
I'm still here... just ran into some hard times with the job thing:mad: . Gettin' ready to fire em back up though.
+1 on the Duratrax.. I use them on 2 Revo's.
But, checking the link, mine use the dogbone style shaft, link looks like a Losi or allen style...
Those eclips stink.
Do yerself a favor and put a screw on the crankshaft in front of the clip. Its a great backup.
Anybody runnin' the RC Pro Series next weekend at BD?
Today is the entry deadline.
I think you better start there. Bad, or not strong enough servo, low bat...
 :o ;)
Usually a good MT turnout, most of the time an A and B main.
You guys drop MT at family hobby???
It is a good idea, no telling how long the mill (Truck) has been sitting around.
And make sure you follow the TRX run in directions to the T!
   :o :fear:
If you ever plan on racing, or running trugs and bugs, keep in mind that the DX2.0 does not have EXP (Or ARC on other tx's) like the DX3.0 and above. Exponential allows you to alter the response rate...
If your steering servo is still working, check the solder joint at the servo, and the plug at the rx. Pretty common problem on stock servo's.
Not sure I understand the first part of your question,...
Jim Powers, and I ride an Indian;)
Your clutch shoe spring snapped.
Man that stinks. And a 3S too. I was getting ready to get a 3R. I've had my DX3 for almost 2 years and no problems so far (knocks on wood). Did you send it back? See what happens when you break down...
Cool, if you see Eric Martin or "Nodge" tell em I said hey. I might stop by and see ya this Saturday and check out the ol' stompin' grounds.
Dewey - "It's a way of life"! There is some serious...
They are mostly to keep your truck running till the marshal gets there...
Hey Bis, good to hear from you. Sorry to hear the bad news about going electric:eek:
Where at? I spent 5-6 years doing sound production at the Bottle & Cork, Rusty Rudder, and the lighthouse...
Just get a new eclip and back it up with a screw so it can't fall all the way off.
Bigger spur/smaller CB = low end torque
Smaller spur/bigger CB = top end speed
You are already set up above stock for a little more speed.
I don't know about a 20 tooth CB though...
+1, no problems here with the Tekno's on several mills. I just bent the rear sway bar inward a bit to clear the head. And no drilling the rockers.
#2 pistons, and 50 in the back shocks should work well for bashing. Imho I wouldn't use tan in the front and gold in the back. That would be backwards. Gold is a lighter spring weight than tan. I...
