Ever thing in working order? Have you ever ran them through water or mud? The ESC looks used from this pic. Would you take $100
Why does the box say 70+ then? I'm thinking about getting one for the speed (I have a Stampede for fun). Just curious about the stock vxl set up on a Rustler. Thanks for your time
Hello, I am fairly new to the RC world...I have owned a XL-5 2WD Stampede for probably 2 months and have quite a bit of hop ups and money invested into it. I enjoy Traxxas so much that I have been...
How do you post pictures?
Thank you all for your posts and input. Greatly appreciated
Thank you all for your kind replies and input. The Integy's are quite expensive and after reading this...they seem more for looks. So, I will wait till my aluminum shock caps get here and see how...
Curious about the right upgrade for shocks. I blew a shock cap jumping a rock mound and ordered the replacement diaphragms along with a shock rebuild kit. Well, while waiting for my order to get...
Thank you both for your input...I did decide not to get them shortly after I posted this. They didn't appear to be beneficial after some further research.
Are the RPM shock shaft guards really worth it for the 2wd xl-5 Stampede?
You all can gfy
Four years is a long time as stated above by Newbie
Thank you. I'm glad to see experience with the brushless system run on Nimh batteries. So far the brushless ones I've read about say can be used with Nimh or Lipo.
I can't afford all that right now. I've already bought a charger and an extra battery. The HobbyWing EZRUN Brushless System Combo B1 w/ 35A ESC and 13T@3000KV 3650M Brushless Motor comes with a...
I don't want to change batteries right now...that was what my original question was in this post.
It actually shows that esc and motor not in stock.
Why the 70A? There are so many to choose from on that site
So, I keep watching vids and reading and researching all the different types of brushless systems. I know that I don't want to spend crazy amounts of money though. I've looked into the hobbywing...
No Pep Boys in the area...the nearest LHS is not very local at all. I paid extra for ground shipping instead of super saver shipping, so hopefully I'm not waiting to long.
Thanks. I have an 18T and 17T coming in the mail in a day or 2 so I'll use the 17T then. Can't do much till I get the shock diaphragm though.
Wow a 14T pinion. What did that do for performance?
Do you have a part number on the screw in ones or where you got them? The hinge pins I'm finding are only for the a-arms.
Traxxas 78mm turnbuckles red part #2336 I can't find any with the red wrench included or any that are 78mm. Is it worth buying the whole set with the wrench...again the exploded view shows 78mm and...
Is the rear a different set or does the 3640s STRC come with all the a-arms hinge pins?
Finally the answer I needed. I'm buying parts right now and I just need to replace the 3640s then? I don't see them bending again now that the (most of the) front end is upgraded
I'm running a 19T pinion and 90T spur. A 7 cell 4200mah and I have the 3000mah that came with it. It's the Titan 12T 550 motor (that I have no idea what the kv's are)
