Yes, leave the little wing off if you are installing a Mugen Wing. Nice looking truck!
Here is a link to one of the Brushless REVO projects out there. I am the guy who helped with the bottom skid plate. This project has evolved and the skid plate is no longer being used. We are even...
The ProLine 40 Series wheels are 4 inches tall. The REVO wheels are 3.8 inches tall.
The Traxxas body comes with the overspray mask and printed window stickers that go on the outside of the body (just like the stock REVO body). If you want clear windows, you will need to mask them...
Kibs, I have run into a couple of things that sound similar to your problems.
1. While trying to set my shift point, I actually found that it was starting in 2nd gear. Turning the other way I...
I have read somewhere that you don't need to worry about the 'Y' connector with the RS310 receiver. Can anybody confirm this?
Install it just like the stock receiver. The OptiDrive should not pose a problem with the 310 receiver.
You will also need to shave the little protrusion off of the wire connectors so they fit in...
The track where I race on Saturdays (yes I know it's Saturday...I had to go to a wedding today ;)) charges $6 for open practice and another $4 to race that evening. So $10 for a full day including...
My buddy had his girlfriend paint his Crowd Pleazer for him. He told her to back the colors with silver. So far so good...until she started painting.
She started with the silver backing. ...
New pics with wing
Yes, you still paint the inside of the body. I use Parma Faskolor paints. They are water based and very easy to work with.
Even with the emissivity set to 77E, my Duratrax would read significantly higher than others at the track. I really would not recommend this gauge.
I also have a Duratrax temp guage and find that it reads at least 20 degrees higher than other guages.
I have run RD Racing and Golden Horizons aluminum shock rod ends and have not broken any shock shafts. However, the rod ends have not held up very well...
The RD rod ends would wear away due to...
Here's how I attached my GPS to my T-Maxx. I just had the unit display Maximum Speed and tuned it until it didn't go any faster. Haven't tried to attach it to my Revo. I would probably tape it...
The OS .18 TM is quite quiet with the stock REVO pipe.
I finally graduated from shaker cans to an airbrush...WOW what a difference!
Here's my first airbrushed body.
Check the gear mesh between the spur and the clutch bell. I had the same issue once. Once the gear mesh is right, make sure all the motor mount bolts are tight.
The ProLine F-150 body is a perfect fit!
The standard size hex is 14mm and most wheels will fit this including ProLine 40 Series. ProLine makes the Heavy Duty 23mm Hex system to go along with the HD 23mm 40 series wheels.
I seem to remember dropping about 5.5 oz when removing the EZ Start.
Install a 40 tooth spur or a 14 tooth clutch bell. I believe the clutch bell will give more of a change.
The close ratio gear set changes only second gear. It won't make the truck accelerate any faster (because first gear is the same as stock). It is used on tighter tracks where the stock second gear...
My race weekend starts Thursday. My wife got me tickets to the 500 for Christmas :D
I'll be meeting a buddy from SoCal on the connecting flight from Dallas.
We'll have a good time!
