It's the one found in the STRC E-Buggy conversion kit:
Yeah I know what you mean. But here, where I live, we're not numerous enough to have any rigid racing structure. We all mix and match against each other whatever they race with. I decided to go...
Hhmmmmm. I think the Backslash is made out of parts that are not initially meant to fit together. While this one could almost be called an STRC 1:8 buggy. As everything fit together perfectly,...
Since I'll be using it against other 1:10 of all kind, I'll keep it in 2S. The combo is a Viper-RC Copperhead-R .45. It's a 4500KV.
I know we are entering dead season in Canada, but I just finished my long lasting project, which I called: SL4GGY.
As you all guessed by the name of it, it's a Slash 4X4, transformed into an 1:8...
thedoc: Viper Copperhead-R .45 combo.
Wondering why nobody, ever recommend the Viper Coperhead-R .45 <_<
It is a 550, lighter than velineon, affordable, run cold as ice and no 3S necessary for extreme speed. What else could you...
Ok, thanks for the precisions guys. :)
Tell me about those tire: Is the balloning really is as bad as heard everywhere?
Tell me Sea-Run, which wheels and tires are you using for racing?
Real cool story you have there Mag.
Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as Hirschowl. None of my 2 kids are RC junkies, neither my wife. :((
Yes it is, thanks a lot...
Man I really dig the shape of this fluo green body ^_^
You mind telling me what it is?
:fear: Awesome paint sheme warfighter. Just wow...
Ahah, thanks guys.
If I have a chance this weekend, i'm going to strap my GPS on it and report you the numbers. ;)
Just like they said above. Gearing depends on too many factors. Your best gearing is the one that gives you 160* or less when you temp gauge the motor at the end of your battery.
Here is a short top-of-my-mind list of pro's:
- By no mean, it is a tiny ESC, but it is small enough to sit flat on the chassis.
- The ESC is 150A steady capable, so the electronic circuitry is...
Let me just tell you this: This is THE, combo to get... Viper-RC Copperhead-R/VX4R.45 :p~
Ok, so according to your description, the voltage seem to be live, which is a good thing.
But about the speed, I'm really surprised, as I thought there was a way to correct/calibrate the speed...
The smallest RRP have for 5mm in 32p. is 11t.
I have a question:
I would like to know if the voltage reading is constantly live. I mean, when you punch the throttle, can you actually see the voltage drop and goes back up as speed increase?
Oh gosh. I'm reading what I didn't want. :((
Since the motor is a 4500kv, I'll stick to 2s.
To your request, of course I will. :D
Never forget, you also have Viper RC making excellent brushless setup for the price. Now that their first years bugs are ironed out, they are quality and affordable alternative.
I spent countless...
