Nope, the RPM bumper does not use that part.
I believe that SSC TRC and Kingshead uses the 10x19 bearing, only STRC and Traxxas use the small bearing and we all know what happens to that bearing on the stock slash.
I can't remember the size off hand but it IS the larger bearing, not the small stock one.
From what I have been reading (forum posts and Steve's blog) the SSC, TRCE, and STRC should all have the same "true performance". No place in Steve's blog did he mention "built in conjunction with...
Both are great lcg's for the slash it is just a matter of what you like. The way I drive I felt that the SSC would be better for me than the carbon fiber TRC. Again, you can't go wrong with either...
In my opinion that would be the SSC lcg which can be found at http://www.ssclcg.com/
I run 30, 100, 7 front to rear in my diffs. Seems to be the sweet spot on outdoor clay track.
There is one in Lutz at Lake Park but right now it is in poor condition due to the weather. They should start working on it soon as there is a race scheduled for the 23rd of this month.
Make a spoiler for the front end out of scrap plastic to keep air from getting under the car.
They are supposed to have a Dodge body sometime "mid June". Part number 6833. I have not been able to locate any yet.
Most Walmarts carry it, look in the shoe department. It should be on an end rack with the shoe laces.
Either one of them will make a big difference in the handling of your truck. I went with the SSC just because..... LOL
The SSC does come with step by step instructions, the RCE comes with a drawing...
Here is a link to a video showing how to do it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_Sd3FyMuj4
There are Mass. tracks listed at http://www.rccaraction.com/trackdirectory?cat_id=76
If you look under "specs" you will see a tire compound chart. That shows the tire compound for the different color dots.
I would say the center drive shaft cover that goes from center diff to front diff.
Is that the brushless motor? If so the rebuild kit is only about $13.00. I just rebuilt mine, two bearings and a bushing. Very simple, very easy.
Throttle control works for me on the track, of course that is with the right tires.
Are you using the same tooth pitch on both gears?
Are you meshing the gears properly? Are the motor bolts tight?
You have brakes in race mode but no reverse.
Turn the transmitter off, hold both menu and set buttons, turn transmitter on and release the buttons, red LED should blink. Press set to clear settings. LED will turn solid green. Transmitter is...
The protrac suspension kit DOES make your truck wider, thats why they include a set of longer tie rods and steering rods.
