I use a 380 can sized 4400kv 4 pole inrunner motor.....I do standing backflips on 2S
WOW......I love your build, you took it to a whole new level than I did.
I used the 7700 motor in my Blitz for a while, ridiculously fast if the rear tires ever got traction
proline desert militia clear body mt/
This is an older pic of my e-revo with slash front and rear bumpers. Now it has summit tires :D
I've played with mine on a 1/10 SC track, it did fairly well with the exception of the big jumps
you could look into some of the crawler bodies, those might be what you're looking for
This is my e-revo with the raptor body and slash bumpers
......been thinking about getting a flight trainer. So far though I like 4 wheels better.
Add some turbine fans like the RC jets use
I've used carpet tape on some of mine, works decent, but the shoo goo and dry wall mesh is the best
Well, if you want something unique, try this
Could be numerous things. If it's just a little off, I suggest using the trim on the controller. If it's farther out than you're comfortable to adjust with the trim option, then look into manually...
I love my 1415 motor, but I run 3S on it all the time. I tried the 1410 on 2S and 3S and just wasn't happy with it.
It's all preference. Beadlocks have the advantage of being able to swap tires on and off as you please, but they're a little heavier. Glued rims are a tad lighter than beadlocks, but obviously you...
Just twice on Sunday ?!
Just gear it lower than stock to keep the temps down. I run the 2.8 trenchers on my truck, but I'm running the MMP and 2400kv motor.
I run MMP and 2400kv setup, stock rx/tx, 3S packs, my only difference is the servo - ebay special, never had an issue
oh no........it can go MUCH lower, trust me
The "S" refers to the voltage of the pack, you'd want 2S to start with. The mah rating is how much amperage it has, which means how long it can run. 5000mah is a decent size for about 30-45 minutes...
I mainly run offroad, but they grip good on any surface. I think the VXL could handle the lower kv motor, not certain though.
I'm running 2.8 Trenchers on my Sl4sh, running on 3S, MMP ESC and Castle 2400 motor. This thing is a BEAST !!!
I use these:
Impressed with them so far
you might want to try radio shack, lowes, or home depot for smaller sections. If you're dead set on a 3 ft section, you'll have to go to a specialty electric shop.
ya, I tried that motor too as I just happened to have one laying around, came to the same conclusion as you too, so switched to the 2400. Now I STILL have a 3800 motor laying around.
