This should help some.
Its stiffer than the stock red springs, but retains a decent amount of compliance. I used them on mine and I just bash, with mild jumping.
Also check out the Integy Springs...they have different...
Chassis length, Stock Rim/tires, Air filter, Body type, Servos, and Rx/Tx are a few distinctions between the models.
I use them all on 8 shocks (stock stocks) with 45wt oil in all of them, and I love them! They are definitely stiffer than the stock shocks, and get progressively stiffer. I dont do any big jumps, but...
I have yet to upgrade to the RPM Tru-Tracks, but they truly worthwhile. I have RPM A Arms on the front, and I have yet to break one. I use the Traxxas white progressive springs with 45wt oil all...
The steering servo...are you keeping that as well? If not, I'd give you $30 for the TX, Rx & steering servo. I don't see the Tx & Rx. Is is the TQ3 3-channel setup?
Product was new, as promised and worked. Shipping was fast and safe!
Nice flips off of the wall at the end. You need a better clip to hold the back down.
Nice jobs...both of you!
Zip ties for me as well. Never had any damage issues in over a year of running this way.
...but at $40 including shipping. A quick search on eBay yields tastier options.
I bought a flat pack and mounted it underneath the chassis. It lowers the CG a little, and gives me more room above to work with other items/upgrades.
Bigger wheels would be a good start (increased overall diameter).
Arent you supposed to have pics posted?
Nobody posted from Fla yet...I guess I will be the first to claim the hurricane state (Louisianna exempted). Jacksonville, Fl (hurricane-free since 1963)
I upgraded my engine from a 2.5 to a 3.3 and so far, I havent broken anything. Not to say your mileage wont vary, but replace what you break. This might be too late, but you can definitely pick up...
Yeah...deanodize those red pieces. I like how they are the chassis braces and skids! (I'm new to the Stampede)
I like those tires. They remind me a little of the ZombieMaxx's I have on my T-Maxx. Sweet truck overall!
I thought the XL-5 was water-resistant?
Is 75 runs typical of an ESC? (newbie to Eletric, Ive been hanging around here to get a feel for things)
Communicates well, Provided pics AND videos of his working equipment, and SUPER fast shipping (well, it helps that he was one state away)!!
I see that Proline makes some 2.8" rims and tires, so you do have more options than just Traxxas.
Too bad they dont make ZombieMaxx tires for the Stampede!! I have those on my T-Maxx and they are...
The shock towers, tranny skid plate, and bulkheads are good.
RDLogics isnt the best of quality and I would stay away from both of those items.
Yeah...what he said.
