Good info OP on the troubleshooting. Just recently got a MMP 3800kv combo and just want to make sure I setup it correctly.
Very nice. Thanks.
Good info. Thanks guys.
Good info. Thanks.
Good info 87GN. Thanks.
Cool thanks for the info.
Good idea. I'll look into it.
Please correct me if the list below is incorrect or I'm missing anything else needed. Thanks.
Motor Mount 5660
Single Motor Plate 5690x
Gear Cover 5677R
What else is required to upgrade my brushed E-Revo in addition to Mamba combo I just bought?
Thanks for the info Jimmie Neutron.
Btw, I'm planning to buy one external Lipo alarm/voltage reader off ebay and I was wondering what voltage value should I set the alarm at for each cell.
Good to know. Thanks afterdark! :D
Just curious. I plugged in (x1) 3S lipo, but the ESC did not respond.
Does it have to be (x2) 2S lipos connected?
You guys are right. Thanks for your input.
I agree with afterdarkgames.
I'm planning to upgrade my non-brushless (EVX-2 non LVD) to brushless.
-Upgrade ESC to EVX-2 with LVD
-Motor: What brushless motor would compliment this ESC?
Great info. Thanks guys.
Do you happen to have another servo laying around to swap out? Have you checked if the servo saver broke? Verified visually if there are any loose/missing screws or broken steering components?
Yes, you can use Lipo's even with brushed motors. I just recently found that out from the forum and I also called Traxxas.
The advantage will be noticeable. You'll have a more constant power...
Good to know. Thanks everyone.
That's what I was concerned about, but looks like its my only option for now. Thanks for the reply.
Great info. Thanks all.
Just got an E-Revo #5605. I noticed that the ESC has no LVD.
I was wondering if I can still use Lipo Batteries with the EVX-2 ESC. I'm not too worried about the lack of LVD...
Mainly using the 4x4 bashing in the backyard, parks and the beach. Every other week, I go to the indoor clay short course track
Inside the Rear Differential Housing (I'm assuming this is what you meant?).
About to do some preventive maintenance on my Slash 4x4 and see that the gears in the rear differential have some kind of lubricant.
Edit: This will be inside the Differential Housing
