I just saw these wheels and i think they would look great on the merv.
Traxxas Dyeable 2.2" Rear Truck Wheel White (2)
I want to buy some HPI 2.2 truck wheels and I would like to mount roadtires on them. The only thing is that I don't know which I should get ...
Should I get ProLine SpeedHawg's or...
It is ok and works fine but i think that the crash was too hard so the servo saver worked but couldn't reduce enough force ..
here's the link i got the measurements from
I found this website and made a pic with the measurements ;)
i just drove my merv in snow and did some drifting. I really enjoyed doing this but suddenly i lost control and crashed into a wall.
So this is the result
i want to use the gear in a project that is nearly selfmade.
and i'm going to use a diff of the erbe. (that diff is strong isn't it ?)
i'm a student so i don't have much money ;)
Could the gear of the merv handle the power of a 1:8 brushless motor or 2 big brushed motors used in a circa 2,5 kg car doing speedruns ?
If not, are there any possible gear modifications...
sry that i didn't express my question properly
i would like to know the specs of the erbe's differential and transmission ;)
i took the photos and because of i don't have a erbe but a merv i used...
is there anybody who can give me some specs and maybe some detailed photos of the gear and the differnetial ?
i need the specs from p to z (in centimeter/millimeter):
i finally did it :D
after four times i had a nice black chassic ^^
first time i only boiled the water in a water boiler and poured it in a plastic bowl. it turned out a mixture of brown and purple...
thanks for your replies ;)
you helped me very much ! :)
what temperature should the water have durind dyeing ?
thanx for the quick reply :)
i thought about that but i wasn't sure
Can I use a lighter dye color than the stock "chassic-grey" ?
And can I "redye" something ?
i nearly finished my new body. it's a 1/10 scale body that trimmed so it fits on my merv ;) with the new body on i could mount my "beast-fan" (8x8 cm) so the electronic runs cool :D
does anyone know about wheels with more offset than the stock ones that fit the stock tires ?
i'm looking forward to buy them, too :D
ok i should add that i payed for two fans incl. shipping about 5€ :D
one time was a green light somewhere in my room at the evening ... hopefully i realize it was my controller :D so it only was for about 5-6 hours on :D
the led is placed bad ..
as i know the receiver only has 5-6 volts. those are fans that are made for computers so they are normally feeded with 12 volts. i wanted to have as much possible volts combined with little weight so...
sorry i can't say ... i've only tried those. but 40x40mm is the right size. they fit perfect. but you have to pay attention to the hight of the fans because between the motor and the body is only...
this is my cooling system
but these fans aren't as good as i...
nice video ! :D
you can use plastidip
or maybe a balloon (only an idea ;) )
