Isn't the aluminum bearing adapter necessary?
I went ahead and ordered the RPM.. I actually like the look of the stock bumper too but I figured that for pretty much the same price I may as well get an "upgraded" part.
I'm building a Slash from scratch and need a front bumper. Stock one is ~$8 and the RPM and Proline ones are ~$10 so price is not really a factor. I hear good things about the RPM bumper but I am a...
Great! Thank guys, swapped the ball end and it's perfect!
I have a stock Slash 4x4 bellcrank on my 2WD slash but I can't for the life of me get the tie rod ends in there properly! My ball ends seem to be a bit too wide for the rack.. What the heck is going...
That's the thing, I'm using the tekno shaft too so I have absolutely NO use for the yokes. Funny that traxxas sells the 4mm pins separately but not the 3mm ones..
Thanks! I think I'll buy these!
I lost a drive pin on my slash I was looking for them everywhere but I can only seem to find them WITH the yoke. Does traxxas sell just a bag of replacement pins? I would like to have spares!
Cool thanks for the advice, but I'm want it more for compatibility with zero offset rims so I can share tires with my other trucks
I'm thinking of picking up a Slash 4x4 but if I do I would want to get it with the Proline Protrac kit because I would like to share tires/wheels with my other short course trucks that use zero...
No it wouldn't. It only means that the battery can provide more amps without overheating or destroying itself.
Doubt it. From my experience with the 2wd wheelie bar I'd say you're prolly better off running without it if you jump..
For the front I was thinking the tape & shrink tubing method I saw posted here..
Someone mentioned an updated gear cover that protects the drivetrain from debris. Does anyone have any details or know the part number for the new piece?
the slash ultimate comes with the series 4
It may never die, but I don't see traxxas investing anything in it. Traxxas is all about rtr and easy to use and sucking noobs into the hobby. I think they've given up on nitro, but I'd love them to...
I think a 4wd bandit would be useless.. How much power could those skinny front tires possibly put to the ground?
I know Traxxas is advertising a $399 street price, which is the same as the Slash 4x4. Towerhobbies sells the Slash 4x4 for 369, but they have the 4x4 Pede listed at 399. Will the actual price of the...
what is the part # for the new traxxas cover?
It's because the Slash 4x4 is not available without the vxl. The vxl moniker on the bandit/pede is just to differentiate them from their brushed counterparts.
Not really, they're expanding on a lot of platforms that they've already made. I guess you could say they're making a lot of new bodies/tires.
I found these that look very close to the stock battery size. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTET2&P=ML
Wonder if they will fit with no mods?
I have both a 2wd and 4wd slash and would like to share the tires/wheels between them. From what I can tell the only difference is the 2wd has different offset for the (rear?) wheels. The 4x4 wheels...
I've had that happen before and I emailed them requesting an actual refund and they did it no problem. I love HK. I've been happy with all the stuff I bought from them so far.
Is there a battery expansion kit for the Slash like the Stampede/Bandit? I know I can flip the battery bar, but it's still not enough room for my battery. Or is there any 3S that fits with the stock...
