A friend is selling a stock Nitro Sport with a nice assortment of new-in-package spare parts, fuel, stock transmitter, and starter.
Looks to have some very moderate wear from use, but from what I...
Mine doesn't know but it's only because she doesn't care. LOL!
They're great for looks and if your staying below 40mph or so, they *SHOULD* hold the tire just fine.
Anything above that, though... You're on your own there!
Gluing on the tire defeats the...
They can be a pain, for sure.
They'll be AWESOME once you let them rip though!!!
Absolutely do this. They blatantly disregarded the ERBE's owners manual and any good HS SHOULD 1) Know better to begin with and 2) do the right thing to fix their screw-up.
I personally have a set of Pro Line Road Rages. I need to balance them pretty bad, but they hold up just fine to all the speed I've been able to throw at them.
I also have a set of Rulux Half-Ups...
And... the Talons are extremely prone to traction rolling. At least in my experience.
They're great for all-around bashing use, unless you bash on 6S like I do...
They're just not tough enough to handle the top-end stress of 55mph or so, especially on gravel/asphalt like I do.
I'm ***PRETTY*** sure the 3.3 bodies DO fit the ERBE. You may have to adjust your body post height and trim for the wing, but as far as overall size, it should fit pretty nicely.
Yep. They're fighting each other (if it stops when 1 is hooked up).
Mine were that way from the factory. Pretty simple fix too!
I ONLY bash and mine has never so much as LOOKED like it might be hurting. Taken some LONG cartwheel excursions and some landings right on the rear too... it's designed to break away...
Duly noted. Thanks for the pointers!
Hmmmmmm... I dunno about that one...
Pro Line Road Rage or HPI Phaltlines.
Buy either SEPARATE (not pre-glued), tape the insides well, and glue them yourself. This will GREATLY reduce the deformation you speak of (ballooning).
Well, first off: Hi! Welcome to the forum.
Second... in short, yes you can.
It's not a straight-forward bolt-on affair, but seems to be relatively simple.
I always charge my LiPos on concrete with nothing except the charger itself within about 8 feet.
I need to get a charging bag...
That is CRAPPY luck is all that is.
I have slammed, literally, into a concrete slab with my front tire. Broke both A-Arms, the pushrod, and axle. It did NOT break the carrier... I think that was...
Get the one with the aluminum wheels and rubber tires. It costs a little more, but there is a noticeable difference in how it behaves when it is on the wheelie bar over the hard plastic wheels.
I use paint markers on my models, but never thought to try to use them on lexan. What a great idea!
Biggie, do you think a light bead blast would have helped your friends wheels? I have the Axial...
When I got my Revo (brushed) I was a TOTAL noob. I didn't even know to but Brushless. LOL
Now, I have a MMM brushless setup that has been stripped down completely front to back (even dyed the...
^^^ This guy knows how to make paint POP!
I still haven't been brave enough to tackle window trim in any of my projects... May be my next "big step" when I paint another body.
That PlastiDip looks KILLER!
I think that will be how I do the rest of my wheels. Is it available in other colors or just Black?
You said the wheels were in pretty bad shape when you got...
Oh I would love to see that purple with a copper or metallic silver! That will be SECKSY!!!
Also, as an "easy way out" option that still nets some GREAT looking results, get the Pre-Printed ERBE Body and throw some Fluorescent Green or Orange on it.
Looks GREAT and you REALLY can't...
