Jconcepts just came out with wheel disks for thier hazzard wheels, which you can get for the slash 4x4
Surprised this wasnt posted yet,
looks like an interesting project!
that looks awesome. i just noticed your from langhorne... right down the road from me! Where do u race?
Thanks! thats kinda what i was thinking but i wasnt sure
Quick question, can the XO-1 KNUCKLES, Front steering & rear carriers be used on the slash 4x4 w/ the stock axles?
Rear part number 6733 = http://buy.traxxas.com/product_info.php?cPath=10691_13653_13613&products_id=9159
Front part number 6732 =...
I run Slash 2wd Front wheels on all four corners on my 4x4, its not a huge diff but every lil bit helps. I never heard of the grey traxxas hexes, have to check them out... what are they off of?
You dont have to get the xo-1 shafts, they have CVDs for the slash 4x4
+2 on the pede gaurds, Never bent a shock using them
I Just got the SPC 6500mah 50c 2s, and they are awesome! Both in quality and price! I only use SPC, for practice i run the 8200mah softpack, i prolly get 25 min or more out of it, for the 5 min...
Well i race on an 8th scale track with a couple of large jumps and when i went to the ssc lcg chassis, i went from finishing anywhere from 5th to 10th to finishing in the top 3 week in and week out....
That would be awesome! I have nothing against the SSC, it took me from a mid pack finisher to top 3 week in and week out, but the strc seems to get the weight even lower. That combined with a little...
the more i see of this chassis the more i think about switching from my ssc.
searh the net for hpi premounted xpattern tires, or ebay. but pre-mounts are hard to come by
Like jimmie said keep an eye on your temps. start with the stock gearing, if your temps are low then go for a faster gear and repeat untill your temps get to high
Looks good! what wheel/tire combo is that?
From what i can tell it'd be easier to turn a rally into a slash
I looked at castle's gearing chart and your right, it doesnt say. I would say you'd prolly want to stay at the lower end to be on the safe side. You could start at 11 and if temps are very low then...
I've been running them all this fall season. I have the mmp & 3800kv 4pole. They have held up great, i really like them. They look great and i have had zero issues
That looks great, all this comes out 2 months after i get a ssc chassis...
I'm thinkin the revo w/ a set of paddles! and with the revo the electronics are more protected by the body since the tires wont splash as much under the shell. Just my .02
I run 16/54 without issue, both on race day and practice day. but i am using the ssc chassis so it acts like a big heat sink
Looks good! got sucked back into the 1/16 again eh? I have been neglecting mine, but the outdoor racing season will be over soon. I think i may be doing some indoor racing in your neck of the woods...
the stock part number is 6851 and 6852, if you add the R to the end of them then you get the CVD's
