No, a center diff will not eliminate stripped diffs, though it will make them last longer.
You should at least shimm your diffs after running the car in, or get aluminum bulkheads, which after...
Well the energy has to go somewhere.
So if it isn't a bad battery or charge, the motor or ESC, must get extremely hot.
Don't be afraid of LiPo's. They're not made of nitroglycerine, like many seems to claim.
I have been abusing them for many years now, without any incidents, and none of my friends have had accidents...
One thing I noted, when shimming my new HR bulkheads yesterday, is that you haveto be carefull if you're also shimming the pinion gear.
After I shimmed both the ring and pinion gear, and assembled...
When charging do not use the "LiPo charge" program.
Use the "LiPo balance" program instead.
The "LiPo charge" program shouldn't even be on the charger, since it's a guaranteed way to ruin your...
Well a gyro is considered cheating and is banned from most tracks, and since this is helping the driver much more, so I can't see how it's not cheating.
Your problem seems to be the ESC shorting out somehow, where X_Spurt's seems to be the batteries.
As soon as you are done running your car, remove the connectors from both batteries,...
Sorry to say it, but you can't use rebound for anything, at least for this type of shocks.
As long as the oil freely can travel from one side of the piston to the other, rebound doesn't work.
Depends on the diff-fluid.
With 100K fluid I have no problems doing standing backflips.
You can "wiggle" it out by putting the axle in it and then wiggle it side to side, while pulling gently.
Yes. Use the O-rings and spacers from the stock shock and add one HR O-ring to each shock. It will be tight, but it won't leak.
Have you tried unplugging the servo?
A defective servo could cause it, even if it seems to work.
A good idea...
As i have six batteries of the same type, i have marked them in pairs and only run them in parallel, so there's less chance of mixing a discharged battery, with a charged one.
I'm finding that 100,000 cSt diff fluid works best for my mix of on- and offroad use.
I have no problems making wheelies and the car is much better onroad.
50,000 cSt is much too thin, and is...
The 50k fluid is standard and is pre-filled in the diff, but sends too much of the power to the front wheels.
I would recommend using a higher weight fluid, and is using 100k myself.
Did you charge the batteries with a balanced charger, before connecting them to the car?
LiPo in parallel HAS to be at almost the same voltage or else the battery with the highest voltage, will...
The problem is not the compression of the shocks, but the expansion coming afterwards.
The combination of stiffer springs and heavy oil, makes the bottom pop out, as the oil is too stiff to pass...
Regarding the speakers, I would bet that they are wireless.
Any foreign radiosignals is bad news for analog recievers.
It could actually be your problem.
Try going ount on the street, away from...
You will eventually have a blow-out, if you make many jumps where the car bottoms out.
But wait till it's a problem to upgrade the shocks, if you are happy with the way it drives now.
Have you tried calibrating the reciever to the transmitter?
The information is in your manual.
Tried a lot of combinations, and found that black front, and pink rear springs combined with 100wt oil works best for me.
I'm also using Hot Racings aluminum shock bodies. (Stock shock bodies won't...
Looking at the picture, you can see it's the same ratio.
Hot Racing spiral bevel gear: 26/10 teeth, giving a reduction ratio of 2.6 to 1
Standard gear: 39/15 teeth, again giving a reduction ratio...
Well, there were no space for even one 0,1 mm. shim on my MERV when i got it, so "must shim" isn't exactly true.
Had almost the same problem with my MERV when i recieved it.
Found out that it was the spur gear hitting the gear cover (7077R).
After flexing it a bit by hand, the clicking noise was gone.
The only correct way is the one for the Summit.
Traxxas must have made an error in the illustration for the E-revo, as it would severe degrade the signal, especially when the antenna is on the other...
